Bistro
Well, seeing as it could be back on the road soon I felt I should put this up. Background: I got it off some asian dude, and prick had reversed into the door/smashed with a sledgehammer or something. So i picked it up for cheapish (for a GT anyway) but it need work. Put mates white door on it, still need to get a new one. This pic was a couple days after i picked it up: Tuff eh? A little different now though. Fisrt time on the motor way the speedo went to 200 and kept going around. Hit the rest at 0 mark and then the needle fell off... Mate took it for a thrash and rooted the exhaust, the flange on the std manifold broke so i got some cheap LCB extractors for it. The current reason its off the road: Took ages to find a head as mine was fucked, but I got got one from Strong For Hondas in the Hutt, with a 3 month warenty. Head was ment to be done on Thurs so I'll pick it up on Monday and do it that night I hope. Only Hopefully if i get this mad job i might have some more money to spend on it. I wrote that in parts so no doubt it's incoherent. Future for this puppy? Rust Paint (Copper Fire agian. Nothing beats brown) 12*6" Superlites (if i can get some from England. Dish and 165 stretch) Lowered/maybe Hi-lo adjusties in chrome. Adjustable bottom arms etc. Speedo Maybe 1330 or something In no particular order is the above. Bistro
Picked up head yesterday. Just a recon with hardened exhaust seats. If I go for a tuned engine I'll probably just look for a 1300 from an allegro or soemhting.

Bistro
Ok. So lets see what I've done on it since my last post. -sorted some wiring -removed duel ign system for lpg (I know, wtf) -got a new speedo for it -fixed rust -new temp sender -fixed up inside bits and pieces -rear bumper straightened out -new front brake hoses -paint -prob some more shit too. Badarse pics. No bonnet stz. These seem to be the only pics I got of when a couple good mates and I spent a day welding up holes. This segment is the drivers side rear window. Welded a piece in and then another strip for the window rubber. Filler was used on the inside where the metal was pitted. Painted my rimz. Rolled down mates driveway one day and his old man goes "Fuck. Look at that. You could get $500 more if you sold it cos of them" Door getting prepped. Couple dents in the old girl but no rust. Getting ready for paint. Blue is primer filler. Got the side painted to tidy it up Pictures as of today. Unfortunately I've decided to sell the mini. As I see it it's not fair to leave it sitting outside to rust, esp with winter approaching, and being a poor uni student I can use the reg/wof/insurance money on chalky b/beer. As much as I would love to I don't have the income nor the space to support two projects at once but will one day no doubt own another mini which I can chop up bone out and roll on a 1360 etc.
