Guest T Bone Posted March 17, 2005 Share Posted March 17, 2005 I have a twin SU set-up on my car, but a really oldschool oil-bath type filter... basically wire mesh immersed in oil, I think it is relaly bad for airflow so I've been running it with no filter for a while. Great sound and more acceleration, but I'm ruining the engine. If I want to keep the old appearance can I remove the innards of the oil bath filter and stuff in something new, ie the stuff K&N's are made of?
