Probably if you can be bothered with a wreck at your place and pull all the bits off. But yeah it's way cheaper. We're blessed with hundreds of Serrias for all us old Ford owners...unlike in Australia...

I bought an entire Serria for $180 and drove it home and scored a mint 5 speed, a mint clutch a mint 205 block, mint seatbelts, heaps of fuses and bulbs, then I sold what was left for $60 and it was towed away by the end of the weekend. :P

you can always score the type9 5 speeds on trademe for under 100

I got a trailor of cortina/sierra bits of trade me a while bak. consisted of

1 compltee motor

1 block with fucked piston with sump and oil pick which i needed

a 5 speed sierra

a 4 speed cortina

clutches and flywheels

sierra radiator

brand new sealed head gasket worth at least $80

and guess how much i paid for my little score

a whole $50, yes $50, steal i thought.
