Guest R3DSKN
hey people, took me car in for a wof and it failed on play in the rack, guy at the testing station said i had stuffed tie-rods, no, not tierod ends , so i rang gaskin ford spares to price the tierods up, he asked why i needed new ones, told him why and he said why not just adjust the old tierods..... anyone know how to do this???? i could probably figure it out myself but i figured why not ask you guys first before ui tackle this problem... any feedback appreciated..... peteretep
u want to know how to move the tie rods or tie rod ends?? probably the best way is just to get ur car realigned or maybe u just need to tighten the bolts, i dont even know if u can adjust tie rods
LOWMK2
i failed my last wof on play in the rack end, it turned out that the rack end bush had colapesed and was floating around in the boot. Just a $3 part from ford.

Guest R3DSKN
hey people, just got in from the workshop, pulled the rack down, had a good look, seems that the left hand rack end has some wicked play in it, is there a bush inside the left hand side that can be replaced????
