So been working on my Mz12 today, started it up etc, noticed dash wasn't working. Pulled it out and had the key on the on position, noticed some smoke coming out of a small part of the loom for the dash.
Now I need an auto sparky to find out why, cause I'll probably burn the car down if I tried myself.
Anyone know someone they can reccomend that won't charge a million dollars?

Yea its really tidy. Was the main reason i bought it tbh.
Tried buying some paint today for the bumper/trim stripes but the place was closed. Will get some next week. Going for black, helps split things up a bit.
The wheels were around $800 for the pair, which didnt include buying the 6Js, but still super cheap for what you get. Pine is great to deal with as well, real good dude.

Recently got a pair of 6J Mk3s widened to 9J by Pine Engineering.
Was originally going to run them on my AA63 until I bought this.
Whipped a spring out of the back today and tried one on.

Have just got my car up from Christchurch to Auckland using Brent at Classic Towing.
Couldn't recommend him enough, it cost around $600 less than all the other quotes I got, and he actually cares/is interested about the cars he is towing.
Would not hesitate to give him a ring, he goes all over the country. Told me he was going to Invers next week, so gets round a bit.

So some of you may have seen I sold my Z20 to Mitch.
I was always going to sell it, and the plan was to import a XZ1X with the money, cause I didn't think one would show up in NZ.
Then this popped up and I had to have it. Checked it out with the help of ANT and chees- when i flew down to Christchurch for the Hanmer meet and bought it on the spot.
6M powered, has had a manual conversion done, but the driveshaft needs shortening.
Has had a full panel and paint, couldn't find any rust on it so am super stoked.
Needs driveshaft and a few things done then will take it for a WOF.

Just thinking about how the camber laws are now, where you need +/- 0.5 degrees is it? from factory. Finding arms for these is a pain tho/expensive
-
Im not allowed to spam your for sale thread so ill spam here.

Do you have adjustable camber arms in the rear?
-
Yea its quite illegal to have no front bumper

125 seems extremely hot. I wouldn't want it going over 90-95 on a track day

More than likely to go alone the bottom of the door or along the top of the sill
-
Do you not need to certify the coil overs anyway?
-
They are adjustable from factory so I don't see why you wouldn't be able to upgrade them

You fucking druggo

So a couple of weeks ago when I was in Christchurch for the Hanmer meet I had the chance to check out what is my dream car for sale.
Ended up agreeing to buy it on the spot.
So unfortunately that means this has to go, although it is going to a forum member, and he is getting everything to make it cool, which he better other wise I will shank him. xx
Will post up new project when I get it in a few weeks

Would it not be the next week? Seeing as there are 5 Wednesdays this month?

Outer lip gets split and new wider lip made to replace it.
-
Any plans to convert to rack?
-
Thats some next level shit.
-
Yes this sounds great

Reading through this thread the only people actually complaining are the ones that don't want anything to change. What's the point in a review if when people bring something up that needs attention, they get rinsed for bringing it up?

I was sad to see it go, but this was always what I wanted, so I guess it worked itself out
