Going a bit off topic but yes nelson cops are fucking tossers, a wee while back a cop did me out in stoke for excessive noise on my diesel l200, completely standard running gear, was lowered and painted bright green on mags and that was the only mods, i was sitting at the lights and he flashed his lights etc pulled me over and noise tested me, revved it to almost redline with his bloody microphone thingy right up the exhaust, and came to like 88 decibels or some shit, anyway turns out rocker bearings were gone, faggot still gave me a fine, was my last demerits so lost my licence for 3 months, tried writing in about but they didn't do shit. Too busy pulling people up in cars than dealing with real crime, i wish you luck man, i really do haha.

failed wof on both lower front ball joints and link rod bushes in my other sigma which is a 83 sedan, just wondering if anyone wants to chuck these in for me if i supply the parts for $$$/booze/etc, would do myself but don't have the tools and also hate paying workshops to do that kinda stuff, cheers!

ok so it was the u joints but also BOTH rear tyres had warped and had horrendous bulges in them hence the wobbling and vibrations!

Midas Newtown has always been reallllly good to me, only when i've dealt with thinus though mainly, helped me out well, others may have different opinions but they have been pretty reasonable with me!

was gonna jack it up but had nowhere flat to do it and being away had no tools or anything to check it out!! jacked up one wheel at a time and wheel bearings seemed to be fine and wheels were all secure etc, also doesnt seem to be any uneven tire wear from what i can see, also it has air shocks which i found out were completely deflated about the time we got to auckland so that may have been a contributing factor!! yeah i know thank fuck we made it back!! but am just trying to work out what is wrong now as i have my other sig to run around in!!

soooo me and my mates took my sigma up to auckland for the parkway drive concert this week, about halfway up north island, it started vibrating pretty bad on the open road then when driving slower around town the whole ass end shook from side to side, and had the most horrible screeching sound when you put your foot down, but even when just coasting in neutral for example it still wobbled around but it only made the sound when i put my foot hard down, just made it back to wellies today and is still feeling horrid to drive but screeching sound is gone, thinking wheel is fucking buckled or a bearing in the diff has gone but it's kinda baffled me, any ideas??

Just wondering where I would get a lumpy cam for my sigma, is it better to buy a new cam or just re-grind my one? And will it be sweet to run with my factory carb, also does it give any power increase, really only buying for lumpy idle but a little extra power does no harm cheeeeeers

I have actually and to do it properly it's gonna cost quite a lot since I'm wanting to go quite low, I'll have to get the springs custom made because I've been a bit pissed in the past when I've had super lows put in and it actually lowers the car fuck all so yeah this is just a temporary fix to it sitting high as hell for now haha obviously I'll have a spare set of standards for warrants etc!!

Yeah aucklands a bit far too travel for something that's probably worth no more than a grand and I'm in wellies will edit that now cheers, always thought they would look pretty cool slammed on a set of widened steelies painted white and running a gsr-x sigma motor to keep it around the same era haha.

I'm sure someone has seen them around before, they are a white mk3 mirage sedan with white alloys as factory and have kind of a red stripe around the bottom of the body with "super touring" written in red, they also have a red front lip and a wee spoiler on the boot. I know they just have a standard 4g15 in them but wanna know more about them if anyone has any info! And also if anyone knows of one for sale.

Just wondering if anyone knows of any cheap places to get my sigma paneled and painted around wellington, or anyone who does good home jobs, wanting to go for a matte army green type colour, has a tiny bit of rust that needs to be cut out but otherwise is pretty rust free and straight.

Ok awesome cheers for that info! was also thinking of doing a swap to a 4g54, the 2.6 astron motor and maybe just working that motor and turboing it as i've seen some pretty impressive power figures come out of those motors, anybody know much about them? and know of any for sale as it would be a good cheap replacement for the shitty old 4g62 it has in it at the moment!

just wondering if anyone knows who does engine conversions around the wellington region, looking to 4g63t or even chuck a v8 or if anyone has any other suggestions for motors in the old sigma but don't know who to go to about it and don't have the skills necessary to do it myself haha, any help appreciated, chur.

Sadly i only got 150 bucks for my wagon, probably a drunk driver hit it at about 2am one night and just drove right off, nobody in the street saw what happened but heard a big bang, whole front end was smashed in, beyond economic repair, was bloody gutted aye loved the old girl!!

Will try get pictures of the sedan soon but after the wagon got smashed, the night after that some little bastards smahed the window and stole all my sounds and my digital camera so have no camera anymore either!!!
