Only just met this car and owner the other day!! fucking hell was such a lush car!

Pick up car next week, might try a panel on it and see how it goes, also been reading about people doing whitewalls with it too and might give that a shot too!!

So i've just bought a wee mk3 mirage wagoooon to run about in while i do a bit of work to the sigma, and was thinking once i've got that back up and legal again it'd be kind of funny/fun to put a different motor in the wagon as i've never actually seen anyone do it before!

Was thinking about the 4g61t out of the early cyborgs or even a gsr-x motor out of the FWD sigmas, what i'm more concerned with is what will the standard gearbox handle and what will bolt up to it? I'm not thinking massive power just enough to surprise people haha. It's just an idea at this stage but thought i'd ask too see if anyone knows the information i'm after especially as there is a non-turbo 4g61 on TM for $300 at the mo as well...

Has anyone used it before? Just bought a wee mirage as a runabout with shitty patchy paint so thought I'd matte green it with this stuff but I thought I'd check here first to see if anyone on here has used it. Does it come off easily? And do you need to prep before painting etc?

just don't wanna pay 280 on top of a car we only wanna pay 500 for haha

So my mate has a weber 40dfav carb that he's selling, he said he had it rejetted for his cortina which is the 2l pinto and reckons it went a tonne better.

Do those adapter kits on trademe work well and will it be a worthwhile upgrade to my shithouse sigma carb?

Wanting to give the car a clean and polish as paint has gone a little dull, what're the best polishing products that you guys use?

I've always used that "Kitten" shit from supercheap auto but that was for cut and polish jobs, paint isn't that fucked....yet

Also will be in Auckland for a holiday this coming week, may as well make a trip to whangarei and pick them up if you're around maybe Tuesday or Wednesday daytime?

So just failed WOF on both front shocks being gone burger amongst other things and really don't have the coin to fork out for new ones at the mo. So, was gonna hit up pick a part tomorrow morning and raid cars for inserts.

Had the best 1km of cars in my life today driving down past vic uni on the way to spotlight/animates, a mint red vw variant wagon, then a golden p1800 then just before we got to animates, a fucking stratos comes out of nowhere, would have taken pics buuuuuut my phone is not that technologically advanced

Do you know how wide he does them man? not wanting full sidewall type thing but bigger then the average pinstripe that most people get.

Ohhhh ok was more looking for the wider type ones as i had flappers on and looked dope but flappers suck and shred tyres so not going down that route again haha.
