720 kingcab so heaps of room on the back for chilly bins, kegs, bikes etc which may help free up some seats in other cars. Although my ute is a legal 5 seater passenger seat is taken and the other seats are uhh cozy at best.....but if your desperate better than walking (only just though haha)
My brother and I were over 6 foot when my parents eventually decided that the 720 wasn't a family wagon any more. Driving Nelson -> Dunedin in one hit is a pretty good test of the back seats...

I've fanged a manual demo and nanna'd my dads one...they're not amazing but they are fun. Arguably more fun than my brothers S15 w/RB26DETT was as you can actually use the performance everywhere, very similar to anything 4AGE powered in that you feel like you're going faster than you are.

I think your email was particularly polite - if it was a $500 car you might just have to suck it up and move on.
However, as you say it was sold as a 'Factory 12A Turbo' which it quite clearly was not.
Reading between the lines he knew that he was misrepresenting the car. I think organising and paying for cert is the very least he can do.
I would give him a call, and ask him about the specific wording of the Trademe advert. People generally find it harder to lie on the phone, better still face to face.
Make effective use of the pregnant pause and ask him what he plans to do to sort this out.

Tired of the V6 already?! Might be little long for a multipla too...

I'm not sure if Lloyd from toyspeed is on oldschool but he is a top bloke - unfortunately I have no contact details.
Except he worked at
when I used to live in Dunedin.
Fuck that's a lingling post - sorry!

Or Alex is a GIANT, (it's fucking tiny)

IT'S ALIVE! Stoked that I actually diagnosed this correctly (for once).

I see what you did there...
This is holding up my welder as well...
Take her shopping...? "Those shoes really bring out your eyes..." or something.

Mrs wanted new shoes meant I could get stator sooner...arrived today, there's something about boxed NOS. I'm hoping I'll get it fitted tonight...
-
My restricted was a 5 minute ride around the block - all left hand turns.
Come to think of it so was my full...
Mature riders get it more lenient I reckon/it's a joke.
-
I was thinking the same - my parents have an 86 - the $999 speedo would also be a good idea as the stock one is not the easiest to read.
Air conditioning would be a nice option, but I'm guessing by the time it was installed you may as well just have regular 86.

I had a student manage to pass on a GSXR250...actually pretty impressive with fairings and limited lock.

280se by chance? If so looked like a sharp price

edit: godam I love those rims so much
I've got a spare pair with disc/forks/calliper even I think...
X7s are awesome, the first 250 to do a genuine 100mph I believe

10 weeks later I managed half an hour in the shed. Stator is shot -> NOS from uk is ~$300 so I'll save some pocket money and get it here. May even manage to ride it to Hanmer

I'd own one, this looks like a very tidy base, well played!

Ha, I had a student point that out to me last week, another boy in the same class is restoring a Commer truck. Semi-rural schools fo-life!

Because this graph impressed me at the time...
In my Suzuki RMX 50 was running high RPM all the time so thought I shouldn't skimp on oil, never had any issues...

My dad owned a 1977 one of these from 79- 84. By 1984 the replacement guards he'd installed in 1980 had rusted completely through again! If it has survived this long it must be a good 'un

I've never seen a dirt only DR650. Have you gone to a Suzuki dealer and asked to put frame number in the computer?
Seeing as there were road legal TT500s (and they're LAMS approved) I'd also try and find a Yamaha dealer to do the same as it could have been road legal when new anyway.
