Well thanks to @Tortron I got some brazing rods but after I had the cover cleaned there was cracks up to the kickstart seal.

Took it to my old mate Gazza at turbo care and he welded it up and got a new kickstart seal. 

Fitted it up yesterday and it runs.

Todays question is how do I make sure the oil pump adjustment is correct? 

Well i can confirm tf cover is different.

When I had my cover blasted, it was full of cracks.

Right up to the kickstart seal so thats no good

yeah the bottom one looks closest to what I have.

But still not quite the same

Cannot see anything wrong with kickstart mechanism inside. 

Maybe if i change the angle of the kickstart, ie align on different spline it might not strike the engine cover?

Found a chap that can weld up the casing if its alloy, he repairs turbos for a living. He has a fella that can help if it is magnesium. I will pull the cover off this weekend to give to him tues.

Next step is to fix the kickstart stop internally.

Jbweld and a soda can would probably work better than knead it. 

 

Are you still at the same address, do you have a mappgas torch? Il send you an alloy brazing rod.  No loss if you ruin it

So my mate Emily brought a TS125

Goes hard but leaked oil from the gearbox.

Turns out RH cover has a hole in it. 

She tried knead-it but it fell out

Is it weldable or should she get a new cover?

Looking for clutch/flywheel and manual oil pump spring for this thing. 

does anyone know of someone thay stocks vintage parts

So my challenges are

1) reassemble... youtube may help

2) source a clutch

3) prune prune prune

Anyway then the pull start jammed and the only way to access it was by removing the motor.

So I have stripped it down.

I epoxied the handle together too 

Fingers crossed it holds

However I cannot figure out how to connect the throttle linkage while the engine is in place. And cannot get the engine in place with the linkage connected

There it stayed until yesterday when it fell off the shelf.  And its handle broke.

I stripped it down and found its clutch had smashed and it wasnt siezed.

I put fresh fuel and a dash of ether in the carb and it ran for 10 sec

So  few years ago I acquired a little chain saw. It was seized I was told.

Perhaps a McCulloch mini mac 3 or 6

Very similar to this one.

It sat in my shed after I poured ATF/acetone mix in the spark plug  hole and left it after it was still siezed

do you still have the ATC? I have a workshop manual for one of these somewhere I could post
