So quickly made and tacked these up at lunch..tig them up in morning Got trim down were throttle and grips go but pretty happy

So put bike back together..changed rear shock mounts..put yamaha wee mud flap back on..then pulled all to bits again to attack with grinder and wire wheel Going make some new wild bars too

So bit more done... Undecided on paint colour...any thoughts?? Was going to wire wheel all and rust up and clear it

Yeah no rear guard to square for that...just lower bottom shock mounts a inch

I made the base and old guy from my work foamed it and covered it

Andy Gal and Chris you and the boys inspired more So this happened And hour or so later So have just plated and spigoted pipe in will fabricate a wee square to round offset transition to tidy all up..toying with idea fabricating up rear guard..what you think?? So finally finished this bike now...i think. New swingarm, pod filter, tyres, speedo, fish tail exhaust tip new shocks etc

So dropped V50 off to auto sparky, so he had play around with lights etc so not going run battery and run lights off magneto, so able to run 6v or 12v bulbs which is good, more variety, took a while to get even balance after few popped bulbs found that need combined watts of 55w between my two lights if had more lights be better but only got headlight and tail light, so at mo it's running 12v 35/35w headlight and 12v 21w tail light, going keep messing round with different bulbs to get good set up

Pic dump been riding C50 all day today still running roughish and trying get use to the wheel stand changing gear..did some good ks on V50 yesterday

Yeah hard tail again could be option. Still think another 2inch might be needed haha and fat back tyre

Rode those today for first time..was amazing so happy got some back guard rub when hit few pot holes haha. So much firmer in front and better handling/turning circle. Thinking of making whole new swingarm and bit longer 4inch might not be enough and moving seat back...thoughts??

Got bike all back together just got to de loom all wiring as all wiring was in behind old forks..so just need ignition and power for headlight. And sort throttle cable and its riding time for a month till rego runs out and then see how changes go and might be few more mods if not strip it down to paint. Enjoy

So full on weekend went picked up complete Honda c50 hasnt been on road in 20 years. I plastic welded leg shield and about as far as got..then go a 83 Suzuki A100 today..so bike collection coning along good. Did more work on stretched v50 tonight nearly all done..made front axle Here is A100 Going be wee cafe style 100cc two smoke Pic to come of C50 thats just going get re registered and restored from 20yearstoakes86 sitting in car port to tidy original Cub

Cut back guard back.bit more and got new expansion chamber on. Seals all done and forks back together. Hurry up rubber fork boots i want ride this thing. Just need lengthen chain and de loom the wiring and sort new accelerator cable nice easy stuff left

Yeah flatten some tube to fit perfect inside and plug welded in and folded up a bit same profile to match. Thanks for offfer on headlight already got one. Will let know if my one doesnt suit look

So lengthed the swingarm and got triple clamps and steering head all bolted up..forks got new seals today and waiting on rubber boots also then front end done. New bars thanks to Nosco (Matt) absolute legend. Just exhaust to change and other wee bits like mount headlight and shorten up wiring etc

Could be interesting I will be going back to standard shocks once lengthen swingarm as will standard shocks on slight angle be nice and low enough, I will be watching your CB350 build closely now
