Subaru Legacy?

My parents started there business operating out of some vintage trailer. anyway they eventually replaced it with a building and it sat up against the fence at their work for the better part of 20 years. over that time they had numerous people come in wanting to buy it, one guy even wanted it for a movie. anyway it looklike shit, had stuff growing on the outside, smell.... interesting on the inside, semi stuffed floor, flat tyres etc. trust me it was in 75432578 times worse condition than this one you have here. anyway one day a guy came into their work and said his dad used to build them and asked if he could buy it from them so he could restore it and give it to his father for his 80th birthday or something. Dad looked at him and said if you can get it out you can have it. so they pumped up the tyres (they held air after 20years of being flat) with the aid of dads tractor they pulled it out and put it on a car trailer. months later the guy came back with photos of it completed and you wouldnt think it was the same caravan. I can dig out some pics if your interested.
I think it now lives at a house on River Road in Hamilton. I drove past a house with a old (restored) caravan parked infront of it that looked suspiciously like mum and dads old one. its blue and white if anyone knows it.
end of story.

Ah, maybe not so fair to yell and swear at them then?
Yes but if you were a car painter wouldnt you think to check if the codes matched the description?
but if the paint code looked like what you have put in the door jams ( which doesnt look like titanium to begin with) Id think sweet spray and walk away. I mean why would you paint the jams one colour and then want the body another?
just my 2c

complete black. why you having to change the wheels anyway?
-
those wheels arent bad.
random question, what brand/type of paint did you use on the diff, springs and what not?
-
halve the red line. use that as the new red line for the first the first 500kms then change oil/ drive as normal.

oh the other thing whats the prep work for POR15? I was told you need like 2 other containers of stuff to prep the surface or something?. will running a stripping disc over the surface, then wiping it down be enough to get the POR15 to stick alright?
-
spray on underseal easier/better than roll/brush on?
-
so Im about to start stripping the underside of the rx7 in a couple of weeks. So I need some advice on what to put on the bottom of the thing once its clean... I was thinking POR15 then underseal but Ive heard those two might not stick together, another option is etch primer it and then underseal?... I want to know what everyone else has done/used what works/doesnt as far as products and pocesses. thanks!

How tall are you ? if your 6.3" and over 100kgs like me then i do not recomend one as a daily.
5.10" and 80kgs so I should be grand!
Cheers for the advice lads, keep it coming, the more I hear the more I like!
Looked into taking over the van but it would be a pain in the arse....
you probably want to drive one around for a bit and see what you think. Im about the same size as you and found the pedals uncomfortable after about 5kms
