What were you wanting gps for exactly? Getting around towns/cities or from one town to the next or both? Ive just done a trip around Europe using a new ipod touch with google maps,as Spencer says, to get me around cities/towns. I didn't want dick around with sim cards or data. Basically just use the WiFi at your hotel/maccas to load the map where you are currently eg. Berlin, leave the WiFi on and a little blue dot tells you where you are as you walk the streets, works mint. Also gives points of interest. Triangulates off other WiFi signals to work out where you are i think? Cos it doesnt work in the countryside. Where in Europe are you going?

Do you/anyone want me to do some write ups on some of the Museums I've been to? Did the Saab and Volvo ones in Sweden a couple of months back. Just been to the Porsche one in Stuttgart today and going to the Mercedes one tomorrow. I know some people have on here have been to the Porsche/Merc ones but it's an idea?

Awhile back when I was googling about these engines, I think (from memory) people were saying the bell housing bolt pattern on the block is the same as a 1UZ. You've played with 1UZs can you confirm they are the same? Would make aftermarket bell housings easy if they are...

I feel your pain, never again.Nah I let it go cheap just because I wanted rid of the absolute fucking morons that I was having to deal with.
Seriously, If I went 2 days without a txt asking "sell wheels separate" or something like that I was a lucky man. Even if I ignored them they would constantly hound me. Just blown away how retarded the nation has become.
Guessing im just too old.
Didn't really want to sell it, but if I didn't I wouldn't be able to stop myself wasting so much cash on it and is rather a stupid thing to do so decided to just get rid of the temptation.
Think I was probably my own worst enemy though I think cos I pretty harsh with my screening process.. I didn't want anyone coming to my place to check it out unless they were pretty legit. Problem is the rotards are so impulsive if u made them wait more than a couple days they disappeared pretty quick.

Words cannot describe how pleased I am to have removed myself from having to sell a rotor.
Never. Again. Ever.
Isn't it just the best feeling ever once it is over

I looked at all cars for sale on Trade Me from 1900 to 1980 the other night, and there are so many uncomplied shit heaps for sale for megabucks. So many lazy people just in it for the money, and I hope it all comes crashing down on them when supply outstrips demand. Almost all cars that are slightly interesting or out of the ordinary are overpriced at the moment, in my opinion.
That's not just specific to cars, that's the general NZ way of operating

Reading that post I reckon a time lapse video would have been awesome... I guess you will just have to get another car and start over

Spotted in Kiruna.
This was mint, not a hint of rust that I could see - well from my brief walk around at least.
Not sure if this should be here or in the left to rot thread

Mint, I've done this bit (and down the coast to Helsingborg). There isn't really much to look at in Sweden and I duno what you do of don't know about but in Stockholm you must go see 'Vasa', the worlds only surviving 17th century tall ship. Also as you trek west you can swing by Trollhattan for the Saab museum and then go to the Volvo one in Gothenburg (see my blog posts ) Also the Natural history museum in Gothenburg if you want to look at stuffed animals including a blue whale (worth the stop). As you go down the Western coast you are more than likely to go through/past a town called Angelholm which is where Koenigseggs are built - Afaik nothing is open to the public but you could go take a photo in front of the building? Mrs would love that....
