Remember a couple of years back we went and looked at that Impala on Kaipaki Rd owned by a fruitcake of a woman? you did the drop top on it just before beachhop. That van ^^^^^ was parked in that field - i was looking at it and admiring its lack of floor, did mr Motor trimmers drag it out of that paddock?

What's the bare minimum paperwork required for cars coming into NZ ex Japan that you are planning on registering here? I keep scrolling through the section of Yahoo auctions that lists cars that are either projects or good for parts. In most of the listings the translations come through has 'has no documents' but some translate as 'documents available'
i'm guessing these documents would be some sort of ownership history/registration history and therefore might be enough to get export documentation in order?
Anyone had any experience with such vehicles?
