Went to a trackday on Thursday, had a good bit of fun. Realised that Yoko A drives are good but no where near good enough for track. So I had to put my S Drives back on to get some grip. The A drives snapped real fast Haha
Got a short video of me pushing fairly hard

Might bring the MKIs so I can see how the Yokos feel, will be there ^.^

Painted up the rear parcel shelf panels, removed the carpet, removed AC and it made a bigger difference than the 14 Degree timing mod. 20Kg lighter and I still have a few bits to remove yetPre rust treatment
All painted
Looks a little less crowded without the AC pump
Felt like taking some photos

Went and hammered my poor car some more, great fun though.
Had my tandem buddy Joe there for some funHeres his videoAnd this is mineGot a couple new dents but fixed them up easy
Shes looking pretty hardcore but is now road legal and no drift days until Feb so the weekends will be spent tidying her up

First drift day of the new Year!I was struggling to link the main 2 coners of the track, speed couldnt be held to hold the drift.I did try hard though with good speed.
Entry speed increased but drift still couldnt be held.
Roadsters friend rain then arrived to help!
I then chased hard like my hero Yuuta Onodera! (^ 0 ^ )/
Battles with many D1 cars!
Here is a video, the quality is poor because of the rain.

Cheers man I am having fun with her!Had another drift day, was good fun and nice and quiet. Lots of guys to drift with and tandem. I had a bit of a tap while tandeming my mate so I have started fixing her up.We had a few antics while there, had a bit of a drag race and let a friend drive my car. He showed just how easy it is to drive and how good he is!I also did a wall scrape with the front end which was rather entertaining but left her a bit banged up. You can see the dent and marks in the door from the wheel of my mates car and the front end damage.
Heres the video I got with some good tandems and both hits at the start for you impatient peoplePeople giving funny expressions
Also got this video a friend made from the day before this one!More photos
Started pulling her apart to do some fixing up, be more on this later once I get the parts Ive ordered(Rear Garnish, front indicator, rear tail light, new metal bumper support)
So another drift day this weekend and then we will hopefully have her looking quite nice all painted up.On another note the primer I got is flat green. Hmmmmm Yuuutaaaa

I had another couple fun drift days with heaps of tandems, trying to improve my chasing skills so I can enter some comps.Made a seal clap in this vid hahaAnd as with tandems comes risk, smashed the rear garnish into a few hundred pieces...
Next day was even more fun with lots more people willing to jump in on the tandems. The challenge is making your line work with a completely different car so you look to be taking the same line. Not super easyThis is Royces R32 RB20E, we had awesome battles all day long
Fairly consistent tandems, Royce is a really good driver so made chasing easier as he was always on the right line.
So that was another weekend of carnage, I also broke another tail light and my exhaust hangers wall scraping....

Someone got a cool little montage from the day too

The guys at Cs Garage organised a Drift day and I was lucky enough to go along and have some fun. One of the D1 drivers managed to convince his other half into lending him her stock Purple Roadster(Viscous diff and lowering springs) which he was just driving it unbelievably!I have to stop wall scraping though as I did another tail light, and I need to fix one of the Enkeis again haha
Had rain at the start of the day and then it dried out so was great fun.Got a good little video and even chased Joels car but I might need an extra few HP to keep up and more lock...Also found my SSR MKIs dont fit now that I have fitted new brake pads -.- So will need some slip on spacers for them now

Yeah only skidpan, Ill probably leave like 7ish

Haha yeah I blew a tyre in half, was driving on the grass to get off the track haha. Yeah the first half was sweet as I had heaps of speed but just lost it all mid corner! The tyres had 0 grip whatsoever.
I have just changed to 8Kg in the front so I might get more turn in which could help drive the front round as the front has been sliding out going by the wear on my Toyos.

Was the most disheartening thing seeing you hit the wall in my rear view mirror.
-
Haha thanks man rain is Fantastic!
Went to another drift day. Was waaaay to hot, I cooked four tyres before 1Pm and they were well cooked belts everywhere. So I didnt get as much practice but was still good fun. Figured out I need more grip so I can throw in harder, getting anywhere between 110-135K entries which are great fun but just not enough grip to hold speed.Found some free powerGot a little video tooAnother day this Saturday at Hampton if anyones keen come down and watch or have some rides!(I think its a $5 charge to sign in as a passenger though?) -
Dang these always fall on drift days
