So went for a nearly 4 hour drive to try out a new track(By new I mean one I havent done) and had a blast. Was great fun even with a couple of mistakes...
First time trying out the 7J +0 MKIIs I bought for more lock clearance and they dont rub at all which is excellent.They look good tooGot a video from the dayAnd these showed up, got the Cams, Gears, ECU just need some shims for the lifters and we will be all go.So thats where its at for now. Hopefully next update will be with ECU etc in!

So thanks to my good man Jose I got to weigh my car. Not bad without me at 975Kg(With 35L of fuel, helmet and a couple tools) and borderline perfect weight balance but also found out Im just over 90Kg which isnt so great...
Also bought a Link ECU and looking around for cams now!-

Last drift day before a few mods to increase the ponies on her.Yes low power can get smokeAngle is decent but the MKIs are still hitting the upper, lower arms and the tyre rubs like all hellOne moreAnd here is the video, couple entries towards the end I wasnt using handbrake and it felt good. I can link over the hill but not with any decent angle and its just too much fun throwing big into the first corner.

Went to Hampton on Sunday for some drifting, Drove poorly kept falling off the track trying to keep up with faster cars. But less rear camber for better grip and a couple extra ponies are on thier way soon.Dont know what I was doing hereGot some tandems in but couldnt stay on doors for longHeres a video from itHad a blast though!

Tried no powersteering at a slightly higher pace, works sweet. Need a touch more front grip though and maybe a smaller dia rear tyre/more powersNumber plate fell off after I pushed someones broken missile back into the pits.Heres a vid of me trying to make it over the hill and a couple chase runs of poor quality. Needed rain

Took out power steering and had a jam for the first time, Was so much better. Didnt take long to get used to the Depower rack and it had much better on the limit.Heres a short vid, no pics have popped up yetSome plans for a bit of extra NA juice coming soon hopefully too

Sills fixed, not much left now just tidying up.

I got some new panels fitted up, looks much better but still needs work. Also fitted the Mazdaspeed comp engine mounts. ($94 from Mazda NZ)These are the engine mounts I pulled out, Even one of the metal plates is bent.

Broke it. Got sandwiched between 2 D1 cars after one spun.This is after beating it into shapeSo thats most of the money I had saved out the window. Might have to do D1 next year.

Went to Taupo for the first time with an extremely last minute call. Its about 3.5 hours away from where I live so a bit of a driving all in one day.We down without a single hitch apart from cracking a MKIII after popping a tyre trying to do a reverse entry. That and running out of space on my camera.Was being rather committed to the first corner getting nearly 130Kmh entries and as much angle as possible, with good run offs you never feel nervousI didnt have the kit on as I have some other stuff I want to do and everything is so much easier without worrying about the kit getting smashed, car doesnt look as cool but its always been for driving.One of the people I have the best tandems with is Royce in his RB20E R32. He drives it like a mad man and great fun to chase.And here is the video from the start of the day before I ran out of memory card. Next on the list is a few safety items then hopefully some NA power

Went to the drift nationals and wished my car was ready for competition as it rained all day. Instead I had a play on the skidpan which was rather slippery...Heres a real crappy video from a terrible angle of how slippery it wasCar was filthy so I gave her a wash today, replaced the wiper blades, stuck the skirts on a little better and threw some 185/60/14 Yokohama BluEarths on the back. Much better than the 175/65s I was runningSince Im really good at taking the exact same pics over and over I will get someone else to take the next lot when the new wheels arrive.

Drifting from the Cs Garage x S Club day, great fun with awesome tracks, people, drivers and cars. Was testing out the new 2-way which meant more grip and angle, still a bit of fine tuning to do though.But no really any mods left to do now except power I guess...

Hampton Downs Skid Pan
Prizes up for grabs!
Gymkhana is a timed course around cones, each session gives you 5 runs, once completed then you get free time on the pad! Free time is to mess around do donuts etc, maybe even a couple of tandems if you are game.
Open to ALL cars, ALL driving abilities.
Four Classes - FWD, RWD Turbo, RWD Non-Turbo and 4WD
