Cheers man! Thought I better do an update
So had my first crack at competition level over the weekend. D1NZ Pro sport which is the feeder series for D1NZ-Pro.Drove the car 3 hours down to Tauranga and my prayers were answered as it was soaking wet! I got in a decent amount of practice dialing in the car for the conditions.Sadly qualifying was cancelled as it kept bucketing down and there were a few crashes because of the standing water.I was only just linking the track nicely in the wet so I was a bit concerned about the dry. So we decided on 70PSI and I went out. Even with the short run up I was linking the track, not super well but enough to qualify in 14th place!I had wrecked my tyres in qualifying as I had been running them all day so I put on my daily Yokos with 80PSI in hoping the slightly smaller dia would help when following. I came up against 3rd seed Calvin Clark who knows how to drive. On my lead run I lay down possibly my best run all day which left me with a huge grin! Sadly on the chase run the rear was a bit too slipper and I was feathering the throttle and shallowing angle to try keep up which ended up with me losing. But Im still exetremely happy with how it went!So next round is in Taupo which is another bit of a drive but its a track I have done so I should hopefully be a bit more comfortable. Thanks to my mate Dave we have some outcar video and incar!Out carIn carI have also made a page on facebook so I can try and get some sponsors because as I found out its quite expensive doing competition, if you could have a look that would be much appreciated.- 8

Finally got the ITB setup in
So got the ITBs and new head in, not much power difference in figures but peak power and torque have moved up in the rev range. Peak power is at nearly 8000 and torque is flat from about 5000-7000 before it slightly drops off.So took it to a drift day on friday and had lots of fun making heaps of Dooort noises everywhere. And heres a few of the clips I got, gearbox isnt the happiest at the moment but it fine for high speed. Just doesnt like low speed changes at high RPM like the 5 speed did.- 7

Cheers guys, did have a few close moments.
The subframe hit a couple times if I went to far inside but its not toooo bad. Car club didnt mind as long as you dont be a muppet or stack it. That and MX5s are too cute sideways to say no. Unless your at Taupo or Hampton and you get black flagged heaps

Went for my first hillclimb today, was awesome fun. Had never been out this way or on this road but was great. A few close moments but came away unscathed.

Saddened by BF shakes I might get Mexicali and/or subway

Stink that the burgerfuel shakes are 2/3rds the size. Might get subway or Mexicali next time

Its actually easy to drive but with eco tyres on theres not much overall grip.
I had T1Rs a while ago but hated them, they just cooked and lost grip fast. I haven't run on anything mega good yet but AD07s, Bluearths, Trampios and S drives have all done well.I need to man/wallet up and get some semis -
The last time I was at Puke I managed to get my time down to a 1:25.9 on street tyres and stock motor.
Ive since chand springs, cams/ECU, swaybar and have tested at Hampton downs with a 1:23.6 on Bluearths/Westlake eco tyres so theres much more to be had

Tacho over reads as limiter is actually 7000RPMm for the Hydraulic lifters sadly but she handles the abuse pretty well.
New power actually keeeps the wheels spinning which is great. I'm going to make some setup tweaks to try get more out of it so hopefully they work. Sadly I need to replace my front tyres as they are wrecked from sliding the front at Taupo

Tried a new track over the weekend and my new rear swaybar.
Even made some smoke

So its been a while since I've updated anything but I'll just keep it simple.Got the head in with the new cams and ECU, all tuned 96Kw and 150nm at the fly which is pretty dam good!
So I had my first competition and first test day with the new engine setup. Stewy Bryant and Shane Van Gisbergen were competing too which made it more interesting. Managed to get used to it pretty quick and come away with second in NA and Turbo class!
The next day was just a fun day with more great drivers and some good tandems
Here's a couple of videos from the outside too
