gta admit it does look nice sittng in there but i do like the sohc engine i like carbs an dizzy lol does the dohc have a dizzy yup weathers turned bit crap lol ill rip it off next dry day for ya thats your 16l? so can i pretty much adapt any 114 discs to fit my car? nice job with the adapter plate! an the manifold those ports are close together think ill be making me a stainless manifold when i get the funds to buy some carbs thanks for the photos to guys!

ohk so thanks to dwlee and his photos was going through spare parts that i got with my half gto and seen these two things an thought they looked familiar i dont think they are for my car but im sure i can fab up some brackets for them couple of questions does anyone know what would be required for cert an stuff if i was to put these on my car and would i make them sit in there nuetral position at its ride height? does anyone know what they are off?

lol its algud, bt pics would be great!! oh yea what were your brakes off? i like my 4g63 sohc 8v lol iv been looking at threads on r1 carbs so im pretty keen on getting some of those and it sounds cheaper than twin webbers or similer an they look good!! i dont wana go turbo but it still needs to go. iv driven it about 5 times an it went well for wat it is its got a lightend fly and a high lift cam i think or race gta hot cam any way oh an extractors havnt driven it for a few years now an people tell me to lose the balance shafts an get it balanced an put electric fans in for a bit more power

yea i like the look of bolt on flares better than moulded ones. your guards look better than them the green cars ones an i like the red better. its a nice replica though, that an nz car? have you got a standard engine? what mods have you done? brakes or anything?

lol thanx arnt they all.. lol still good looking car!!! and dwlee i couldnt measure the id because its still in the half car ill remove it later in the week an measure it properly but the od was 59mm if this helps i dont mind the cornering is more getting it to hold better at higher speeds, its like a boat. i guess new bushes and a wheel alignment would help the old bushes are in poor shape

oh how do they work i wouldn't have those mounts would i. yea someone said to put two sway bars in one below the existing one does this work as i have a spare sway bar, its got new shocks all round apparently. the back ones are def new i cant tell if front ones are and new springs in the front. ill have to call around for the leaf springs

oh yea guess not wouldn't wanna wreck it just don't want it to feel like such a boat. so would they use a leaf of my other set of gto springs or make up a special one. what sort of place do i contact to do this? (garage or there special places for this type of thing) from what iv herd nolethane bushes would stiffen it up is this true?

so the short leaf makes the suspension harder? yea i'm gonna put nolathane bushes all round. torque rods? um how do they attach? i don't know much about cars but thanks for all the input guys. see if i can find some images.

does any body know about rear sway bars if it would make my car handle better how hard to do with leaf springs ect?

yea i had a look at it bout a month ago it'l look awesome when its finished! can't wait to get back to nz and see my car lol
