  1. I got two steel sleeves, spring seats, lockrings, dust boot, and springs off jamex for $175 delivered. Making adjustable coilovers is fun/cheap.
  2. If i put the adjusteez back in will someone pay my fine?
  3. Choice thanks man! Or... Thoughts?
  4. Agreed. I was and am getting it certed, its just unlucky that I got caught before I got there. I only had them in for two days. If your just finished adjustables were sitting next to your very jacked ride I'd say not many people here wouldn't put them in. I've contacted that free legal advice place so I'll see what they have to say about the fine. Thinking about keeping it on the mean rake full time. And to whoever said I wouldn't be able to get it low enough, they can jog. Putting standard struts in today but I'd say The Hoff won't be working till next week so may not get cert till after holiday.
  5. Eat one Bazza. Un-certified adjustable coilovers. $200 fine plus VTNZ WOF so not that bad but I'm going to have a crack at getting off the fine because the officer didn't write my full name out on the ticket and I've heard of incorrect details being grounds for an invalid fine.
  6. ^Let me clarify. Once the car is lowered and all on the 13's, to change to 15's would require the front to be lifted so I can still turn. Height does not mean distance between guard and tyre...I will be close to the ground.
  7. I'm with Mikuni. Struts back from the welder tomorrow so I'll post a pic of it in ski jump form. Definitely not longchamps way to over used and wouldn't suit it imo. If I used 15's I wouldn't be able to go low enough so 13's are the go and look the business.
  8. ^savage slam will be applied very soon and thats why I'm using 13's plus it makes the final ratio a bit higher. 145/65's. al_feinted...top speed a lot higher than 80. May get some widened steelies later on for fun. watanabes are common.
  9. Thanks man I managed to work it out and yes that seems to be the best way of spotting. Wheel recommendations?
  10. Ok well I'm familiar with most old wheels but I'm just after some input and maybe some new ideas.
  11. Haha just edited post. Yea man I'm going 40 or 50mm from sills. Keeper springs just arrived for the adjustables yus. But any wheels you've been waiting to see on a dumped wagon?
  12. Hi I'm not sure if this is in the correct section but I'm wanting some opinion from fellow enthusiasts as to what wheels to buy for my KA67... Wanting something a bit wider 13x9 for the rear13x8 front low/neg offset. I'm having trouble searching what I would call well known wheels on yahoo japan auctions eg hayashi command trd tosco etc so if anyone wants to post some links if they have a browse? I'm aiming for something different and buzzy so don't hold back. 13" is what I'm going for but open to other sizes (14"). Also thinking of lowering it but this might affect driveability. Cheers bro, James
