good place for wiring/alarm diagrams/color codes.
just remember its american, so things are on the opposite side.
color codes match though.

^ this. will be most of your problems most likely.
ballast for the injectors/coil. (have come across it before)
most cars use the same loom for manual/auto.
but yea, alarms can fuck things up easily.
take it out and make everything factory spec, then work from there.

want me to come over saturday morning?
sounds like inhibitor switch wiring and ballast resistor/wiring..
probably a plug forgotten to be connected somewhere.
-
keen, still want that visor?
-
someone on here put a link up to the dave vizard book a few weeks ago.
READ that before you do anything radical. has a lot of good advice from a clever man.
found it.

also keen to hear about getting flat glass cut.
want to do a roof chop on morrie, but price may be a factor.
can exizting toughened glass be cut?
-
nice and clean, look good.

put a "T" fitting into the block where the oil pressure switch is and then you can run the gauge and the light.
-
have used safe-r-exhaust in the past.
does a good job for a good price.
in wordsworth street.

what sort of bike? usually need a battery to act as a regulator.
if ac lighting, make shure you have the correct wattage bulbs,
too small can make them blow, too big and the lights are dim.
-
wrong coil is burning the points out.
need a non ballast coil, or fit a ballast resistor in the power supply to the coil.
sounds like the points are shorted out/ wire is on the wrong side of the insulator on the points.
very common thing to do.

good book, i used to own years ago.
talks about block distortion at 450hp and how to cure it.
well worth reading for anyone interested in motors.

get someone to pump the brakes on and off while you grab the rubber brake hose to the brakes.
if you feel any movement in the hose.... replace.
have come across it on motorcycles.
makes things spongy
cheers.

nope, this will be a budget spec fix up to get a wof and legal.
then remove roof for rowdy convertible over summer.
then sell/profit/use money on the morries/get my motorbike legal.
-
place in hazeldean rd in chch has new doortops for about $100.
another $25 for the sliders. will probably go that way, seems cheap.
-
got the mighty 186 holden.
need door tops and/or drivers door bottom.
and at least 1 front hub, has grooves in it you could fall into.
cheers.
-
get it home.
inspect rust with hammer and screwdriver.
remove panels, start cutting.
oh god, here we go again...
new pillar and chassis mount was about $140 with factory bolts and clips.

ground ginger as a radiator stop leak.
used to work in a radiator shop, best thing to use when the customer had no money. "go to a supermarket and buy this stuff"
will get you home, and when you drain the system - it all gets flushed out.
mint.
