How'd the body hold up Sam ?

took lots of pain killers, had a blast.

paying for it now, body has more aches than when i left on friday morning.

fell in a river crossing, on the same leg that i crashed on the buell a week earlier. luckily it was still numb.

    was a bloody good weekend.

    keen for the next one.

  2. Just got home.

had a couple of good battles with Aussie sportsters on the triumph.

Both bikes made it home, lost a gearlever pivot bolt on the buell in the last Milwaukie iron race.

probably had something to do with the off I had the day before.

    so retired from that one.

bit swollen and battered, but had an awesome weekend.

got a 1:56 from both bikes.

    happy with that.

  3. (Bloke from the coast on the road sign special )But it has a problem of reliability.

have seen it more on the recovery trailer than on the track.

    but fuck it’s awesome.

Yeah, there was a brief fashion down here for road bike engined trail bikes. Triumph engined Maico, CB360 engined CR250 etc. I built a RM360 chassis with a GS400 twin in it - which turned out a nice road/trail bike.

At Sound of Thunder today for a look. Britten is a customer bike - don't know whose. Having some probs too.  Saw a bike you'd like Rudi, Kevin Ryan from the West Coast has one of Ray Breingan's lowboy Norton frames with a GM 500 speedway motor in it. Rough as guts.

Overheard him telling someone that the early road signs are better than the new ones for making bodywork.

reckens he is half sponsored by land transport or who ever makes road signs.

    awesome bike and bloke.
