You guys have photos of either Jasons or Deans work?
This is the only car I am doing a full resto on so best metal worker will get the job...not the best body filler sculptor LOL.
Thanks for the name, I will contact them both when I get my car down here.

Can anyone recommend a specific panel-beater in Napier? I am bringing my XA couple down there soon and need to find a DECENT panel beater, not like these useless guys i got to do my last escort :/
-
Opinion on these ones?

I am going to supercharge it oneday, so want extractors that are good for 200ish hp.
Yeah the collectors are rubbish...I am looking at a 2nd hand set of HKS and autoexe ones for the same price, just waint to hear back from the guys.

Any thoughts on these? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=569974872 at the 2 into one it looks like it will disturb the airflow to buggery? Any exhaust system experts tell me wether these are pretty crap or pretty good?

Yes, I am registered on a few, remebering which on is which is the hassle ;D

Might be realy to ECU
Here's another thing: If your engine dies while driving - watch the gauges.
- It may be the relay that powers the ECU. If the tachometer drops to zero while the car is still rolling in gear, that is surely the cause.
- If the tachometer keeps showing the correct value, but the econometer shows a fuel cut, the problem is in the air flow meter.
- If the tachometer shows correctly, and the econometer indicates there there is still fuel consumed, the problem is the fuel pump or its relay.
I am pretty sure when my car died that the rev counter was not reading anything

Hmmm, still hitting brick walls, I am about to try out my spare cranks angle sensor. I ahve read it thaty dont put out a strong enough signal that is can cause the power to be cut to the FP.
-
Not yet, but he told me hes talked to the past 5 of the 7 owners of his coupe, THat is pretty impressive!
-
My E36 318is has park, but not power to fuel pump, so I am guessing crank angle sensor is ok...what else do I check? Waht else stops power to the fuel pump? I might get the voltmeter out agin soon and have another prod around.
Any ideas?
It does start from time to time for 2-3 seconds then dies. It but out on the way home for 5 seconds, kicked into life again then died completely

Yeah, not to worried if it was a ford/dealing thing or not, would just like to track some down. I will have to have a chat with the pervious owner, he must have some more photos somewhere.
-

I need help identifying XA Coupe factory decals.
I am trying to find what models and where to get a set of these stickers or some clear photos so I can have them made up.
I am wanting to return my coupe back to its factory specs (other than wheels, and twin headlight conversion; D ).
Does anyone have any info or pictures of these stripes?

Crushed glass causes less dust then garnet and does not hardern the metal as ush, it is smaller then that beads and so is softer on the metal. as per
http://www.sella.co.nz/general/building ... es/brwzhh/ these guys even say suitable to alluminium most guys use the medium grade as it s more versatile, but I want light grade so not to warp my panels.
-
I am on the hunt for a sandbaster that uses crushed glass, as that is my media of choice after some reserach.
Does anyone know of one between Auckland and Taupo?
