  1. anyone know what the deal with this is ? i hear lots of different things i want to make a a frame to tow my race car to local events rather than hire a trailer for it as its currently no wof or reg the obvious hooking up of the rear lights like a trailer i have thaught of

  2. I recall some facts about bike crashes

    no gear? expect to spend 4-6 times longer in hospital/rehabilitation than if you were wearing it.

    Make a few more items of kit compulsory. Good gloves at least (fall off at low speed, put hands down to break fall, have a cry about gravel under your skin)

    after riding a scooter with just a helmet and gloves with normal clothes then getting a bike and proper riding gear i think id be scared to go back after having armour in my jacket and pants

  3. all my close calls have happened at legal speeds infact on my bike i havent taken it more than 5k over the limit i ride almost every day of the week to work and back and in the weekends for a cruse have had people cut infront of me in a 2 lane roundabout see me and still pull out infront of me i have 2 rather bright headlights how can you not see me i never split lanes in traffic ether

  4. Dude try reging a big bike, lets just say my CBR is highly likely to never have rego again.

    The things thats really balls is most of the bike accidents are caused by cars hitting us, and yet we have to pay for it, thanks ltsa you guys rock :doubt:

    too true you never realise how many crap drivers there are untill your on a bike

    Mods to them (can be brief or detailed): braught the car stock its now my racecar has koni/trd coilovers, heeps of wheel/ tyre combos ,sloted discs mintex1166 pads bucket seats 5 point harnesses , 16psi pulley on the 4agze , feild fuel controller, lambada link, 2.5inch exhaust , custom intake piping , fire extinguishers , no interior or sound deadning , raised gearstick and short shifter , ae101 e58 lsd gearbox, exedy clutch , ae82 steering wheel , trd gear knob plus lots of other small things and the list is growing as we speak

  6. working in the building industry myself i would also agree with gaz doing bulding maintenance and i love doing the problem solving stuff often i think why didnt they do this in the first place often its the same price but a better solution

  7. no not what i ment i was trying to say it had been sitting for 3 or 4 years before i got it and it was at the bike shop overnight while the battery came in picked it up tonight cant beat that sound of 14,000 rpm

  8. having carb issues with mine but think i just need to be paitent as i havent taken it for a good run yet rebuilt the carb tonight again and cleaned every bit of dirt from the float bowl looks a bit hori at the mo with mis matched top fairing to the rest but shes ready for a wof now as i replaced cluch cable and got the old broken adjuster needs a new chain though

  9. i have a 98 rg150 the 560$$ special that is slowly being put back on the road rego was on hold guy had it and went overseas came back and sold it to me just tidying up things new mirrors fairings cleaned up all the surface rust on the frame with a wire brush and some zinc paint that actually maches the frame colour perfectly toying with the idea of painting all the fairings and tank black as i think it would look sweet silver and black i braught it to retire the race car from daily dutys
