  2. Lol, yeah true. but i seem to have problems with the wheel cylinders a lot... dont know why they keep fucking out. Bleed the brakes properly everytime, and had the lines cleared out. No idea...
  3. Fair point. Do you know if there is any disc brake setups that would fit a hunter? for the rear
  4. Anybody have any advise on the easiest way to lower a standard leaf rear and strut front hunter? Thought of just getting blocks, chopping the fronts accordingly, buying new shocks and shortening them. or if anybody know of any shocks that go in without being shortened?
  5. Will it damage the shocks [Like fronts get damaged] or will the be sweet?
  6. if i had 2" blocks, what shocks would i need [cheapest possible option] i am no worried about bringing it back up to standard height. will the standard shocks do? or will i need something different?

  12. i have read that some models of hunter have adjustable suspension in the rear, does anyone know what models/years have this in? or does anyone have any for sale?
  13. when twin carbs have been over hauled, do they just need to be balanced to ensure everything runs fine?
  14. have talked to some guys at a reconditioning shop, they reckon they can rebuild the 1725, bore it to 1800, and build it capable to handle efi turbo charging. this would be one of a kind for sure.. probably really pricey tho..
  15. yeah i get that, but where do you get the water from? do u have to buy a t piece to make the water run through the manifold from the top hose and where to you put it back into the cooling system??

  20. even doing a few little skids in my hunter.. the mount was still attatched to the engine, but where the mount is attatched to the cross member, had torn off. there is now a little plate missing off the crossmember, it is still bolted to the mount though..
  21. Would anyone have any advise on how to get a 4agze into a hunter? how much fabrication required? I wouldnt wanna have it on the standard cross member cause just doing a few skids with the 1725 in it was enough to tare the mounts off the crossmember!!

  23. my mates mum used to have a ford v6 hunter (in like 1981) and apparantely it took fuck all fabrcating to get in??
