  1. Nice looking GT. Fun cars, I have 1970 GT with Toyota 5 speed. And you can still buy everything brand new for them.
  2. It was suggested that I post photos of my Triumph in here, so here it is... I bought my Triumph the way it is and haven't done anything else to it yet! As far as I can tell, from receipts etc, the conversion was originally completed in about 1991, so it's had the V8 in it for more of its life than it had the original six! There's some basic specs below the photos... Model: 1978 Triumph 3500 V8 Saloon Mk2 (registered as a 3500). Engine: Rover 3500 V8 with Edelbrock intake manifold, Holley 390 carburetor, electronic ignition and electric fuel pump. Exhaust: Extractors with twin 2" exhaust system. Cooling: Twin electric fans. Transmission: Borg Warner Type 65 three speed automatic transmission. Suspension: Front - stock with heavy duty springs. Rear - stock with gas shocks. Rear End: Holden 3.08 in modified original diff housing with Nissan half shafts. Brakes: Original. Wheels/Tires: 14x6 Performance aluminum 8-spoke wheels with Bridgestone 185 tires. Interior: Speedometer, tachometer, fuel level, coolant temperture, oil pressure and volts. Body: Front spoiler, 3500 V8 badge on grill, 3500 MkII badge at back of car and V8 badges on rear pillars. Completed: Has been a V8 since about 1991.
