IIRC. you can get a focus sump that was steel rather than alloy like sumps found on other zetecs. just a bit of cutting, welding & hammering you'd be away

The strongest BAs were the LPG ones. They had the turbo bottom end, tougher rods etc.
theres some threads on performace forums i think it was of guys turboing ex lpg ba taxis with decent results

Man, surely the only way to do this bang for buck spec is a barra powered coon with a China gt45 strapped to the side, stall converter, shift kit and a welded diff would be all you would need drive train wise.
