^ id build a 1600 crossflow. so many parts available to hot them up. and you don't need to worry about everything fitting etc.
build a draw through turbo'd 1600 kent.

awsome my first car was corrolla GL 4a spec sedan of this vintage. Back then allways dreamed of a GT twin carb 4age one.

Anything supercharged sounds preety good to me.
However if i was in the market for a big 4 door car id be all over a BA/ BF falcon xr6. We have 2 base model spec falcon utes at work (BF2 & FG) there nice to drive and definalty have some go.
my old man also has a BF xr6 turbo. seriously awesome car.

The AFWE louieville we took to taupo for the taupo 1000 off road race this was in 2003 i think. the truck was mainly ussed as transporter for kiwi thunder (monster truck) but used it to get the race truck down to taupo. sorry for the shit photo's was taken with disposible camera that ive just scan'd.

Queens Birthday Weekend 5th June 2011
Where: Woodhill Forest, Southhead. Follow the signs from Kumeu on State Highway 16.
Turn left at Helensville / Parakai roundabout and head towards South Head.
Scrutineering: Saturday - Main Road Kumeu at Pine Pac from 12.00 to 3.00pm.
Race Track: This year the race will be about 210kms with a lap distance of approximately 28km.
Full Day: The time-trial and race will be held all on Sunday 5th June.
prize giving is at Denny’s Restaurant new lynn
Spectators: Gate entry for spectators and extra crew will be $10.00 per adult, under 15yrs free. Please do not give the gate staff grief.
Food: There will be food and coffee onsite, supplying hot food and drinks.
Programme: Saturday 4th June Scrutineering 12.00 to 3.00

Sunday 5th June Gates open 7.30am
Time-trials 8.30am
Drivers briefing 10.15am (Sign In)
