well I bought an engine crane today, and got 1256 into the grey viva no photos because my bloody memory card snapped somehow which is soo stressful

no pics, but a small update on the primerd viva Interior has been put back together and all the wiring that needs to be done is done getting engine this sunday, so ill just put that in and wof! leaving it unpainted for now because i cant afford paint so will be primered till i get some cheap paint plans to sell me ford laser..lol and use this as daily driver

Bought southern hardstyles viva off him.... plans to get it on road asap with my spare engine as it is engine less pics ^^ first thing on the car

superflex are the ones supercheap do iv got all there part numbers but it added up to $1000 from them I'll measure mine up and take a few pics i suppose You'll need to anyway to get them from Repco? Ask DAP or CAP? They might have some.. or look on te.co.nz like i did i asked DAP and they said they have part numbers of nolathane bushes they use but they said some need 'customising' and te only has them for old as vauxhalls

havnt taken for a wof with magnum stuff yet, but i pulled it out of a rusty old car that had been sitting for ages as for the $266 i think it was upper control arm inner bush.. i also need mounts

prices range from $26-$266 some weeks would be far better than others

repco guy told me to bring them all in and he will measure them all and do a mix and match of nolathane ones so ill see how much that will cost

went to supercheap and they had every single suspension bush for front and rear total = $1008

have you got part numbers for the bushes or anything. i cant find anything for viva

sooo finally managed to get hold of magnum bits yuss now features a sway bar and significantly larger diff/brakes everything in general ill give them a wash up and paint it

the twin headlights were already taken off it haha disappointing, I was looking for the 7 dial gauges but I could only find one and the person was using it

I'll also add that i got magnum gauge cluster from horopito motors now with round dials woo thats thew old letter box looking gauges the new round dial gauges, there algood the shadow on it just makes them look all weird

yeah its air pressure because i had to cut my air line as it was wayy to long and all the new joints are leaking ill just tape it hardout and do hose clamps tighter

painted boot lid blue yesterday its a bit light so im gonna go a few shades darker but at least the painting was good

yeah my water trap collects a good amount of water when painting boot lids

yeah i might think about doing that for painting viva for little extra power

I painted boot lid with my good paint, the colour my car is probably going to be it came up mean as will post a pic up in my project thread tomorrow in the sun, one question my spread on my gun started out nice and big but as i progressed through the painting it went a lot smaller could that have something to do with the big leak in my air line
