  1. got this http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_J_1983_T ... _7102.html still not too sure, it seems like there are hooks at lower seat where the legs are.
  2. yeh, will do that, but sometimes Ed finishes work late and going straight to there, just sometimes.
  3. Hi,Could anyone possibly pick me up for this one? the grandfather might be at the panel and paint shops on this day. Kelston,New lynn Area.
  4. Ok, Cheers mate. Hope your 86 will eventually show up somewhere mate! Getting quote this week sometime, and probably get it done sometime later next week.
  5. Hey thanks, but I couldn't be bothered with spray and sanding myself to be honest. I believe I could do a reasonable job as I practised some on the red e21 I sold before. but yeh I would like it done professionally. very nice collection you have man, 2 aes, what's the black one?
  6. I am keeping it as zenki. yes I have to say kouki looks better, but then zenki is getting rare than kouki now. I found the side skirts maybe good when you have a full body kit with the trd wing. anyway, I am going to spray the things as I mentioned before. The prices expecting to be: 300 for both bumper? 150 for all side tirms and mirrors. then 150 for the both bottom sill? 200 for rust remove and touch up paint around the car? see if I can keep this thing below $1000, probably good to keep it around 800.
  7. Thank you man. no, it doesn't, otherwise I would mount mine existing ones to there. The heat shield you have does look fantastic. I am guess I will need find a way to mount it to my dizzy.
  8. I am pretty sure me and Cam would love to see the our shitty corollas parked at Toyota dealership once again.
  9. So you want to make your car look like an AE85? no, but the looks are exactly the same.
  10. Hi VG, Do you mind if you could take a photo of your sill? maybe put a ruler or something on the sill so I could work out where the Silver and Black paint meets?
  11. Yep, I asked him yesterday if he could get me zenki ones. I really should bought a Kouki. These Bumpers are so Cheap. I have decided to put Matt black for the bumpers and side mirrors and lights. I do like the bottom sill to be painted black as well, so it gives a two tone look, and factory. mise just do the whole lot at the same time.
  12. Nice bumpers are perfect, not sure about the mirrors and side skirts tho. My car wouldn't sit that low. US has the red side lights? Good looking car!
  13. like the levins front and rear bumper, it's the factory colour that can't be/hard to be sprayed I think.
  14. ok, shitty day for me, scratched my front bump when going into the garage, fuck~! so I now, Let's just restore the car back to facotry spec exterior wise. painting both front and rear bumper to black. Respray the guard and door trims I got from rob. Painting the very bottom( below the doors to black?) Bbuying new stickers. and taking out all the rust I could find after taking all the interior out. also I have Found Original factory catalogue, for Trueno Prefacelift, Facelift and Levin(not sure what type). http://www.2shared.com/document/W3URYxE ... no-01.html http://www.2shared.com/document/riKrg1x ... no-02.html http://www.2shared.com/document/QeVo1hh9/ae86levin.html
  15. Right Right guys, and thanks Nathan. No, I don't really find any sig offensive. Let's not take anything personal from here, so come on guys, let's move on. Here is the Photo of what my car should look like on the day it rolled out factory, maybe the wheels is not the exact one. so I have got all the door and guard exterior trims from Rob. I love this guy. Now, I am planning to return factory looks for exterior I am slightly confused, The very bottom of the car( below the doors) does look like black as well, yes? And, I am buying the after market but OEM stickers, and they blooding expensive, I mean, 100 pounds would get me a whole set if I could find them. Also, I will strip the Rear quater glass for rust removal, I have searched few things online and reading the manual. Any of your 86/85ers have personally done that? I heared it's bit tricky to do specially they have never came off before.
  16. Some of you guys comments are geniune. But yeh please end some of pointless critisies etc as I have explained before with reasons. Would be appreciate if you come here and comment in a nice and suggestive type of manner. Kpr, I know there's a factory dizzy cap, which we have discussed before which suitable for aw11 dizzy, I probably would need to change the whole dizzy. I will pm you for a photo, if that's suit. Thank You. Also I am planning to respray the front and rear bump to black, because I scratched the front bumper when going into garage, Fcuk Me~! well, then I thought, let's strip the whole interior out again and fix every tiny bit of rust. so this is what I will be doing in next few weeks, I mean I only strip the interior and bumper and everything else will be the professionals job.
  17. My logic is: I want something to last a long time and reliable. something that isn't good I am not keen to pay good price and labour in. I don't know why is it so hard to for you to understand anything I mentioned before?
  18. Don't know if you noticed or heared of. All the heat wrap I can get from supercheap and repco deteriorates very fast. It deteriorates to flakes and peels off slowly. I don't mind to pay 20 dollars for something to last 1 year or two, but it is few times more than that and not to mention it's very time consuming to put on in the first place. I was also thinking to spray some heat paint on, not too keen, because these cusco exhuast do look mean when they're naked. I agree with you the heat shield do look fugly due to I made them out of heat sheild from other scrap engines.
  19. Right, The heat shield is complete. Not the last word of persicion engineering, but it does the job pretty well. and Also I noticed everytime I start the car in the morning, the car blows a puf of blue smoke, this means the valve stem seal is gone?
  20. This should do it. bit more mods on the actual dizzy heat shield before I put it on, and will call it a day.
