There's a running KE10 1969 on trademe for $600, but the bodys a bit fucked. De-Regg'd etc.
It's listed with another two cars.
-
Uh nah, strangely there's 6.5's in each door, and what looks to be 2.5's in the dashboard, on top.
I thought they'd be tweeters too, but nah, they're just tiny speakers.
-
Ah yea.
Sweet, wasn't aware about the RCA thing.
Yea, its running 6 speakers, so I don't know whats going on.
I read the manual and apparently its meant to say "CODE" if it needs the code, but I only get "OFF", so I don't know.
If anyone wants to donate a cd stacker send a PM

VW Notch!
Awesome.
I'm sure that wouldn't be cheap?
-
Oh right.
Fuck, mean.
My brain was seeing 75mm as a tiny amount for some reason.
-
75mm?
That kinda seams like a bit of a waste of time?
Does that rule just apply for standard steels? So you could still have wider mags?
As an example, this would be illegal? (15x8)
-
Any sweet places in Auckland?
Does the law give two shits about this kinda thing? (Is there a law? Ha)
-
What kinda price are you looking at to get standard steels widened?
Sorry if this is a retarded question, just something I haven't encountered before.
Also, looking at lowering my 92 740GL.
Any springs off other cars will work?
I know a guy who's got two 245 wagons in a paddock.
-
If you think its possible could be keen to commandeer this piece of machinery off you!
-
Would gladly take either of those if the cables look correct?
Would pay postage etc.
EDIT: I'm also just assuming this works.
When I tried to run it last time I had a battery in, it just said "OFF" on the screen when I turned it on?
-
I was thinking the same thing Brock.
On trademe I can see a 6 CD stacker for about $20.
Seams like that'd be a winning idea.
Says its a 8-hole-round-plug?!
Bit of a loose description but sounds similar haha.
-
It's out of a 92 Volvo 740GL.
Guy at Repco called the manufacture said the Volvo CD loom/iso thing should work with all the adapters.
Negetive.(Which was a little too obvious)
I had pulled a plug out of the hole labeled AMP, which confuses me because I am pretty sure there's no amp, unless its a factory thing for the 6 speakers.
I've just had the interior out and didn't see anything.
Also, there's a CD input, using some old school s-video looking plug, is that essentially just an audio in?
Here's some pictures, thanks a bunch to any reply.
Otherwise I'm just gonna crimp the wires as per usual, but this 6 channel thing is intriguing.
-
I'm not actually sure.
It has side impact protection system or some random shit.
Test kick ftw?
Haha.
Got em' out, cheers all.
-
Haha, thanks a bunch man.
Will give it a shot now!
-
Currently trying to get them out of a 92' 740GL.
I've taken out all the bolts I can think of, she'll move forward and backward.
But not up.
It's the heated seat model?
Anyone got any ideas before I do something crazy.
-
I am currently too shaky to do either of those things.
I will look into the coat hanger situation.
-
With the keys in the car and the windows up!
-
Have you got an example of this miraculous idea?
I may have made the tragic mistake of buying another car over night.
Bugger. Should be fun none the less.
-
Haha, on that note.
Anyone wanna play swapies with a wof/reg mint, 89 omega, auto, 170ish on the clock.
-
Are spacers/adapters still legal?
Because I could always do that to 6x139.7 and then use spacers to 4x100 haha.
Sounds a bit dodgy, but not impossible.
-
Hopefully someone comes across this thread and knows exactly whats going on.
Otherwise I'm tempted to swap her out and find something else.
Even though I'm currently out of a job. Fucks sake.
-
Cheers for the input.
Here's the kinda wheels they fit.
So I'm sure I wouldn't be able to get around re-drilling the wheels.
Adaptor plates?
They do them for a 4x140 to like 4x114?
-
I've got an 89 omega, was planning to make something awesome out of her.
Till' I find out shes a 4x140 stud pattern. Terrible Terrible choice on subi's behalf.
I've seen a few rollin round on 5x100's.
How hard is the hub conversion?
Or did they do this another way?
Cheers if I get any answers.

Name: Dorian
Location: HBC, Auckland
Cars you own: 1989 Subaru Omega
Mods to them: Complete new sound system all round, nothing else cos its got a rank stud pattern of like 4x140 with a huge pcd.
How you found out about oldschool: Google. Trying to find if I could do a hub conversion on the Omega somehow.
