I have a dutch plate or do you mean an NZ "Euro" plate?

Also Shushband may be of assistance?  I think I have access to a Euro plate (could be Brit though)

Yeah, a New Zealand Euro plate. The main thing I need at this stage is the exact height of the printed part of the letters. I've made quite a few Euro plates and Euro style stickers, but I've always relied on the photos that customers have provided for me.

You probably already know about Atkins but maybe this is the kit they used and it appears the links don't even work on closer inspection but being useless is fun, for your little car is it?

Yeah, I'm weighing up options for the Midget:
    1. 3-cylinder turbo (can't find one)
    2. Motorbike engine (conversion will be a bit complicated, and low on torque)
    3. Rotary

A 12A or 13B is a bit overkill, as it adds unnecessary weight and more power than I need, so I thought a single rotor would be cool and a bit different.

I was thinking about getting the custom bits (e-shaft, etc) from Atkins, and the standard/common bits locally.

It starts to get quite expensive when everything is taken into account though, so I end up back at option 1, 2, 3, repeat. :-)

  3. Oh, and a weird thing happened last week: I was driving down my road to go to the courier depot, and there was another Midget parked down the driveway of one of my neighbours in the same colour. It had a hard cover on the spare tyre (which I'm wanting) and I really wanted to stop to talk to the owner, but I was in a hurry. When I came back half an hour later it was gone. :doubt:

  4. Here's my little runaround, with p/plate, graphics and wheels added:

The next addition will be a storage box on the back, a stereo, and a proper exhaust (since I cut the muffler off for drag day).

I'm still on the lookout for an engine transplant, and ideally it would be the 660cc 3-cylinder turbo from a Daihatsu Terios Kid, but I haven't been able to find one yet.

I reckon 120hp in this thing would be a hell of a lot of fun, and would make a huge difference to my current best quarter mile time of 21.8 seconds.  :-)
