Shit, the amount of things that just about fall into your lap is amazing. Nice skinny tyres like that should make fitting/turning inside the body easier.

I’m 100% in for this, and I’m already foaming from my nether regions.

Minus the 20 dollars Brent gave me.
20 bucks is 20 bucks?

I thought I'd be better off rolling and spreading the load, rather than sliding and grazing myself. It sure didn't feel graceful though.

My summary to the wife when I got home last night went something like this:
"It was awesome! One guy fell off and broke his collarbone, another dude went off a large bank and didn't die because he landed on some trees, and I got a flat tyre on the last day. Oh, and I had a little fall at about 2km/h when I derped. Can't wait for the next one."
Her response: "Please don't tell me that."

Alarm went off at the usual time this morning. Meh, I’ll just close my eyes and rest a little longer. Nek minnit, it’s 11am. Sooo many emails to catch up on, but I haven’t found any angry ones yet, so that’s a bonus. Pretty keen to retire asap so I can tootle and ringding errday.

I’m lying on my bed in silence at the backbackers, but there’s a constant ringdingding noise playing in my head after 2 stroke riding all day.

Fuck, this has been awesome so far.
Sent from the toilet in the bach, while sipping a Woodstock.

Oh, when I got home after that Raglan trip, I walked through the door with a fake limp and wound her up for a brief moment. My poker face isn't very good though.

Maybe we could do the opposite this time and really get her going - video calling while doing skids on the edge of a cliff or something.

If anyone has a spare beer crate, I think I could comfortably fit it on the back of my bike with the one that’s already on there.
To clarify: so I can carry more of my own junk - not somebody else’s.

Wife finally figured out this evening that we’re using our bikes on the road, and not just going for the occasional ride off-road. She kept asking questions about why I was trying to fit everything on the back of the bike, rather than putting it in the van.

Anybody know where I can buy a 3L (ish) fuel container from? 5L is a bit bulky, but I haven’t been able to find anything smaller on Tarde Me or at Supercrap Auto.

Beauty, that makes it pretty easy then, as I can leave the brake upgrade to last and see how bad the stock brakes are before I start upgrading them. I’m taking about a factory 31hp to 100ish hp upgrade, so the 2nd option you mentioned will apply to me.
I doubt I could even get the thing to 100km/h 5x in less than 3 minutes at the moment.

How is braking ability evaluated for a cert when a vehicle with terrible factory brakes receives an engine transplant with a significant increase in power (percentage wise)?

I’ve ridden my bike around the shed about 8 times, and up the road once. And I’ve never ridden on gravel before. Should be good aye.

If someone could bring along a spare screw in mirror or two that I could borrow for the day, it would be most appreciated.

@Geophy came around and welded up my exhaust for me last night. I'm such a welding noob that I picked up his sunnies and asked if they were welding glasses.
I checked out his D bottle while he was here, and I'm pretty keen to give it a go myself one day. Welding looks like fun.
