Lucky that the only visible number plate is probably the only legit one of them all.
That is a weird article.

also @Archetype check out how flat your tire is her
Probably <10psi at that stage. Slow(ish) leak meant I had to pump up my tyre every day, and it was at 4psi in the morning.

Do any of you guys want me to bring your OS sticker sheets to East Cape, instead of posting them?

I posted that pic in spam last night, but realised this morning that I’d put up the wrong image. He sent me that pic (not his car), plus a photo of his car with the black plates that I made him. Both cars are red coupes, with 1 different number on the plates.

What's your sleeping plan if it rains, @Chris.QCR?

/should I do a sticker, or someone else want a crack?
Last year's sticker design was awesome, so I reckon you should do this year's one too.
I can print them if you want, or you can use whoever else you like.

@Archetype?? How spendy will this be??
Extremely.
Nah, should be pretty easy to do if we can get a nice front-on shot of the originals, and the dimensions.

My garage is only about 1/3 full. Unfortunately the entire floor area is taken, but if you can figure out a cheap and easy way of utilising the other 2/3 of empty volume, you’re welcome to it.

That would be the cheapest and simplest solution, but I want to get the shed back to it’s original intended use. Plus, it’s full as fuck.

Yeah, that's the main downside I see at the moment, too. All the items I'm painting at the moment are small (<1m2), but I would like to use the area for painting motorbike and go-kart frames, etc in the future. I also want to make it so friends can use the space to paint whatever little projects they have as well. I think maybe the only thing that the shipping container would be too narrow for would be cars, and I can't see myself painting those anyway.
-
I'm still very much a noob when it comes to painting, but it looks like it's going to be an important part of my business for a while yet - as well as my own hobbies.
I've currently got a far from ideal setup in the garage, which gives me no control over dust and debris, temperature, and overspray. Plus it looks like shit having half finished products lying around everywhere while they dry.
I'm daydreaming about getting another shipping container, and setting it up specifically as an external paint booth with power and extraction abilities. This will give me storage for all my paint related stuff, as well as control over temperature and air filtering, and a decent amount of room to move around in.
Does this sound like a good idea, or is there a better way of doing it?

Hey @Archetype
If someone had a say, AG100 or TF125, and, like, someone could do Photoshop, could you like, um...
No, I don't think that's possible.

Chances are there are a lot of car and bike builds floating around in your head that probably won't happen in reality, so here's your chance to share them with others.
Here's one that I've been dreaming about in various forms since I was a teenager:
XA Falcon coupe, in red pepper and black accents.
Built as a tough but comfortable street cruiser, with modern engine, brakes and suspension. Similar style and height to this one, but with different wheels:
I'd also be quite happy with a crazy version, along the lines of Ken Block's Hoonicorn Mustang: Scratch-built chassis, composite panels, huge power, AWD, loads of fun.
Next!
