  1. Got one on my bench you can have shortly (out of my 510) still worked good, but going to a bm44 from a silvia so I can match the 15/16 bore to the front brake calipers.

Provided bm44 clears the strut tower when it arrives.

Remind me to measure diameter tonight.........but pretty sure it was the same as all the clutch master cylinders around. (

Pick a part would have thousands that are the same diameter)

  2. Car looked good , was a good day shot up for a morning.

Craig Dyson ain't shy on the throttle with the wheels up, just boot full and swapping cogs till it comes down.

Fatrx3 hmm I was actually quite impressed ( the wheels didn't look as out of place as they do in pictures) as good as it would look on some normal wheels all colour coded and smoothed definatley a different level.

Highlight was probably the 7.9 in the little datsun coupe to beat one of them aussies rx3.

Didn't take one picture all day(forgot phone)

  3. Must be the project car life , on the look out for a low comp rx8 also.

Have a rx8, fd and jc blocks now and wondering how the fd rotors would go in a rx8 block.

"Chucked a lazy bid on that 13b turbo Datsun 1600 on trademe instead"

No room in my shed, however my 1600 is going for painting in the next 2 weeks.

  4. They all rely on spring pressure to stay closed, regards of the pressure difference across the tb. Under accel the pressure is the same and thats the only thing holding em closed.

Can't you just up the spring pressure a bit?

Second spring or a new one

  5. Long nose lsd diff are expensive,go for around 800 plus.

A long nose non lsd you may findicate for 300-400 or more but grab what you can find as they ain't all that common anymore either, come in a few different ratios 3.7,3.9,4.1 etc but you need to use the crown wheel from the long nose diff.

Two different kinds of short nose lsd units, both fit but late model ones need spacers (bolts 12mm vs 14mm)

  6. Have a set of watanabes that have been annodised gold, something different I like em but need a good tidy up / oxydised / brake dust build up etc

Short story I what can I bring them back to life with without damaging the anodised coating?

Maybe thinking of soda blasting them?

    Any other ideas?
