Noice........give you some legs when passing all those slow 1600cc cars on the ktown straights..................if you can see through the oil cloud.
hoping for the same numbers with my sr20 but I have no airflow meter an already swapped the throttle body in the name of making the 300hp mark

I looked at this for about 4 years with my Datsun before going back to a silver...........I toyed with a pastel colour but I was never going to end up with something standard.
I think if your building a resto go with something like the original colour / shades , However if its not so original go with something metallic.
Not a red car fan , but god damn does an R100 look good in most shades of red. or black......

Rx2 one has the 45 degree ramps in it so an aftermarket mazda unit , God damn are they fun with the brap pedal down. Funny how worth the same dollars as ten years ago
Get those wheels widened up , rx4 seem to have big wheel arches

Nice wagon would mind one myself. what sort of dollars do the lsd's fetch these days , I remember buying a second hand unit for around $800 nearly ten years ago.

Normally head home about 5 and battle the 20mins of traffic between home and work , Biggest change in the last year ive noticed is people on phones.
Every 3-4th person will be on there phone crawling along looking up and down browsing fb or something................................................
We have become so dependent on them we can put them down anymore

New series 6 block is in the 6k bracket, swap the front cover over and use your old water pump/sump as well.( drill/tap the three holes in the center plate for the passengers side mount)^This
I want a fun car, not a massive power
I don't do cheap and I don't do half measures.
Then you have new bits......

haha mark keep telling yourself that buddy lolol.
Went I bought my not hilux, I should of gone to toyota!
Wasn't the response I was looking for Shane
Second hand utes these days is a lottery, although the speedo may say 100kms seems to be so many that have signs of having done a lot more....
15k don't buy a lot of ute but it would buy my one so I could spend another 10k for a 2010+ one
-
Two camps
hilux's and the rest.........haha
As for those who say they are overpriced they can drive the rest, Pay a bit more and sell for a bit more than the equivalent.
Only thing I'd change would be 3uz.....soon
-
yep they are that much better.......but I own one I guess....
My 260kms 2008 hilux drives way better than the 2007 rodeo at work that's only done 190kms.......
Like any 2wd ute , It love wet grass ( or even wet tarmac) but if you have some weight in it it's all good. Haven't been anywhere a couple humans in the tray hasn't got me out of yet.

Can pick up and store for you.
Need to get down your way sometime as well , I have a engine block and diff head down that way.
-
So many cars getting stolen at the moment........good luck
-
s1 and s2 are 4x110
s3 are 4x114
most likely had a strut and diff swap because the s3 has near a fwd offset.
much easier to find s1 &s2 diff etc compared to a s3 setup
ke20 is 4x110 as s
well where as ke30 onwards is 4x114.Most will stay with the 4x110 pattern because it can be quite hard to change, down side is that 4x110 wheels fetch good dollars compared to the more common 4x114 pattern because of it.

Nice car , bit sad to see it go but been for a ride in it on a wet road....................my advice would be put two or even three pairs of undies on and a plastic bag.
Regarding the brakes , cant remember if they are 297mm version or the bigger. But series 4/5 discs are 278mm? and apart from the OD same profile etc.
so either machine the od down on the Fd ones or just replace them with fc ones and remake the bracket to suit.
There are a few 15" wheels that fit over that however they require quite a bit of clearance on the backside of the wheel.
I am currently modify some similar bmw rotors that are damn near the same which give a bit more caliper clearance.
Enjoy the machine , and post up some burnout vids.....
