Few 808's coming up for sale at the moment...........................
Sitting with my 10-12k range on the hunt................seen a reasonable local one and "Boom" due wants 18k on hubbies rolling body half patched in primer.
Bugger me........there are complete cars going for that not much more, the world really has gone mad.
Then some sense 25k rolling body , lot of work done for the money

Done 13k in the work ute - new triton since getting it before christmas...............
If you want a ute for the purpose of lugging stuff around id go for last of the old shape hilux
Triton is alright and has dragged some stuff I didn't think it would , to be honest im impressed, however there is just those niggley things that annoy me already.
- - After driving around the hilux it seems laggy , boost dont really start to wind up till about 1800rpm , takes a while to get moving in the traffic and then wham-mo.
- - The Hi-beam switch is double click fucker instead of flick off.............
- - passengers seat belt always gets logged between the plastic and the seat..............then rattles
- - So much higher to lift things onto that the old hilux
- - Tray resonates alot more often , Hilux would only do it on gravel roads in the right conditions
- -Had it a month of so without the towbar and uphill in first gear felt like the uni's were out of whack , extra weight or time has sorted that.
- - bushes in the rear leaves are already making that annoying squeaky noise when you rock the truck.
Has more boogy than the hilux , but Id rather a hilux
Hill start assist makes you pretty lazy..........................

Is a 4 port in Wellington on trademe atm.
Automatic ones don't have the hardened stat gears.......but they do have the counterweight for flywheel.

Was at taupo paintes for 18 months pulled it out and they went bankrupt , Sat in the shed for another year while the bank account recovered.
Now in whaakatane and has been there for 6 months.........................however painted the door jams, its getting there but basically 3.5 years to paint it.
Thinking I might buy something else now ( it might never get finished)
-
Because of the ploom.........
5 valves per cylinder = more leaks
What are yoy doing here, You should be bidding on 490kw xr6t on trademe.....

Leave the factory weight flywheel and will still drive exactly the same. We compensate for rotating mass by increasing the idle...............
Pumps aren't really expensive like they used to be , aftermarket replacement would be advised.
Injectors - I think you swap the primary injectors out with some secondary ones (or some larger ones with the secondary ones in the primary place) then you only need two off
