  1. I dont think there is any demand for stolen 86s/their parts, so dont stress yourself too much

    You are trolling?

Insure this and alarm it and when someone you hardly know from the internet offers to come and "help you" on it at your house tell them no.

When you sell stuff to people on trade me, don't let them see the car or even better meet them at a petrol station...

Couldnt agree with this more - people must think im dodgy when i meet somewhere to pick stuff up etc but the less they know about whats going on in my shed the better.

When we first moved to tauranga we were renting and the owner had the house on the market the price was so high no one came to view it. He then lowered the price and we had about 4 open homes before it sold..............................................

You can imagine my amusement when im down at well know company in tauranga we get started talking about cars, and up comes the that someone had seen a one at an open home under a car cover last weekend.

Was on the market for 420k i think so wasnt think it sold for 360k

  2. You can get shielded cat5/6

I assume they have run a 25mm conduit for the power? this will be pretty much full with the power and a comms cable. I would buy a length or 2 of P25 on the way home and install 2 more conduits to the shed, probably need a bend or to heat and bend it where it comes up into the slab? easy stuff. The ammount of people I meet through my industry who are gutted they didnt install extra conduit = millions, people who regret having some extra pipe = 0. Shit If I was building a shed it would have a couple of 50mm ducts run to it, just becasue I can

Im gonna run 2 x 50mm when i eventually build the next one.....

At least do the bit through and under the slab to the edge.

  3. had a manual helmet for years , brought a speedglass helmet about a year ago and to be honest for those fiddly jobs i dont know how i did without it. (pen pusher during the day)

Nothing like being under the car tacking thedownpipe into place under the car and being able to see what your doing (only had a tig machine at that stage)

And welding the patches in the rear guards at 30amps into 40year old old thinning datto steel.....was still 6-8 hours a side.

  4. I might have to talk to Arrow about getting some of these ''metal sleeve insert thingys'' on a few of my wheels, no one in Hamilton knows what im talking about when Ive asked.

Might have on that bandwagon too , have some b45s in 4x114 and always thought id have to get them redrilled in between for the 4x110.

  5. Yeh, I had thought about painting them, but i'll wait till the cars painted, and see what they look like then, I think the gun metal konigs suit the blue with black bumpers well.

I was going to use the konigs as my track wheels, and sell the street fins once the semis on them are worn out, but we can have a yarn when your back and see whats up.

I'm super keen to see what the challengers look like on your datto, I think they will suit it really well, the dattos staying white aint it?

Dont know now at the moment its still white, pretty keen to go to an oldschool pastel colour. Or leave it ruthless white patched.

Car is now at home in tauranga moved it over last time i came home, so if your over tauranga one weekend drop in for a yarn.

  6. Love those wheels perfect choice. my 2 cents is to paint them, they are so cheap they will sell like hot cakes.

I cant believe the style has been ripped off already , didnt take those chinese long!!!

does this mean there might be some konigs up for grabs soon too?

My sportmaxxx's are just too wide to speeze under the front looks silly keen for some knid of deal
