Any one have a pair of rx2 handbrake cables / the rear sections?

unfortunately one of mine was broken so I procured a another set and threw the old ones away. However the bloody new ones don’t fit…….only really need the outer liners as the cable will be shortened anyway. 

Or rx3 / 808 ones maybe the same.

Looking for a set of 323 hubs + brake assemblies / backing plates etc /everything apart from the stub axle / strut. 

someone must have as doorstop.

Running G4X with IC7 on my 13bpp 

Few config changes and all appears on the dash etc.  

Lambda only displays in lambda at the moment but will be sorted in AFR on the next update  
 

I couldn’t recommend IC7 more ,have another on back order for the other car. 
 

if anyone is after a Microtech 3.5” display I have a brand new one (only been plugged in to be replaced by Haltech)

I have a left hook grand familia wagon im going to comply , My stash of  808 bits is not much use to me as these left hook cars seem to all have rx3 spec interiors.

has anyone here done LHD to RHD conversion on an 808?  Can see the process is the same as Rx2, however are 323 steering box / arms compatible?

Still reckon turbo rx8 is good value for dollar / can’t afford fd.

On the Rotor front , my car starts and runs on new motor after 9 years of being ignored. / noise will be a problem.

Haven’t had much luck with Auto motors , stripped 4 rx8 motors  two auto / two 6 ports.

Auto ones have all the budget spec bearings and gears etc

 I thought they would be better but they suffer weird / carbon deposit damage and I haven’t managed to get a housing yet without a wear pattern / chrome peal at the exhaust opening.

Need to be thrashed every now and then

Been contemplating for a while, I feel they look a bit space age in our old cars. however they are quite a good solution when you only have a few outputs and all the dash can be displayed via canbus.

Run a microtech 3.5” display with a link monsoon in one car and all the indicators are factory dash bits. 

Often wondered Speedhuts canbus gauges might be an option, anyone run one?

From my experience , the rotary ones are overdone and kill alternators due to it. Used to pull the old motor to 10k  that would have the alternator doing in excess of 13k rpm / Water pump doing over 8k rpm.

When you look at sizing versus the standard pulleys can see how overcooked they are , New underdriven pulleys are v belt and will see alternator under 8k / WP maybe 5k prm at full noise.

Was cool for crusing around and nothing like that noise....Maybe trade again one day if i can find one of the old prototype 20mm sets.

Id probably use urethane and masking tape to hold them long enough to dry , however you would probably not get them off again with damaging the paint.

Buut, FC's are selling for $30k+

FDs are selling for $40k+

RX8s are sub $10k, spend $30k on an REW swap with a single turbo & aftermarket ecu and I'd almost say the 8 would be a better all round car.

Yip 7s are damn nice.

Brought an rx8 a month ago drives bloody nice / needs some work / hot starts..........however  have the skills to sort that.

Best part when i go somewhere it could be there when I get back (if its not theres another one on buy sell for less than 10k)

Nice to be able leave it anywhere and not phased should someone else take it for a hoon.................
