  1. same thing happened to me when my laurel got stolen and crashed, got paid out and the only way to get the car back was to buy it from turners where it went to auction, got it back for 380 and took out alarm, sounds etc then stripped it and sold most and made bout 12hundy

buy a hilux with bullbars if you wana be bulletproof, guy backed out in front of me in the supermaket carpark, hit him pretty hard and all it did was break my corner light but made a mess of his car.

Have also hit a chained gate with it and it just broke the hinges off the gate

    Hilux+bullbars=good

  2. my 2l-t surf was doing a similar thing at random times, i just reset the ecu and it was fine. I just disconnected the battery then held my foot on the brake to drain the leftover power from the ecu, unpluged it, pluged it back in and it woked fine.

  3. yea the linkage inside the drum is still moving just not pulling the shoes out enough to clamp on the drum and nah its a pull type handbrake that sits under the steering wheel so no adjustment there

  4. My mate has a 84 courier ute and it faild its wof on the handbrake it was reading 200 on the left but 0 on the right, the adjustment thread where the brake cable splits into a Y to run to both drums is wound fully up already. Is that the only way to adjust the handbrake or can i just adjust one side @ a time or is it new cable time.

  5. Im looking at buying a 71 mk2 triump 2000

do they have any notorious spots for rust?
