I have some spare buckets that meant I could make them pretty easily without pulling front off the car -

Fitment is exceptional Now I can check the water in 3 easy steps instead of 20 minutes each way. I still can not get the heater to blow hot no matter what I do, the tap doesn't feel seized and I've tried bleeding air with a bucket sized funnel sealed on filler neck and the heater hoses at back of engine feel very hot. -

Radiator installed again with filler neck on passenger side Took two attempts because they missed my beveled cut on cardboard model where it meets radiator and assumed radiator sits level not on the 15 degree forward it has (V mount?) -

This thing has always had a bit of a water leak most likely from the shit junction on top hose where there are 4 joints in 200mm (engine-filler cap-radiator) all on a bit of an angle and just average. Took it in to my radiator guy and he said to make a cardboard model of how I would like a filler neck added to passenger side The existing setup meant I had to remove drivers seat and 10 or so bolts for the engine cover. Moving it to passenger side means 3 buckles and I can check/fill water. Tempted to move dipstick over there also.... Dropped it off this afternoon with my cut up glad wrap roll. Hopefully back up and running for the weekend -

Rear is looking better The goal is to get another certification for the supercharger kit, lower height and 8/9j wheels but it's a juggling act between legal tyre sizes, correct speedo, camber laws and not looking like a hilux.- 129 replies

Installed the new rear springs. Adjusted shock a bit more after photo to get spring captive. Was still able to get required droop ~40mm. Height installed was exact same as previous bc springs. The idea with these is that you trim the tightly bound section to get desired height. Went to go for a test drive but battery was flat. Decided I need to finalize my tyre sizes before I go cutting expensive springs. -

One of my mates was picking something up from a wreckers in Takanini and spotted a high roof km36 van. Sadly the boot handle was also wrecked but I did score a pair of front stainless monsoons Pulled the rubber edging off and gave them an autosol -

Axent Audio in New Lynn repaired the square woofer foam on the pair of Pioneer ts-x22 for $135 including gst. I installed them last weekend with a single bolt through the engine cover and another through the battery cover to hold them in place. They sound good but not as good as I remember the ts-x10 sounded for some reason. -

In further suspension fiddling I sourced a pair of these rear springs that are 20mm shorter than the current mx73 bc short ones and a dual spring rate.- 129 replies

Tried them with another 14" A type wheel and they will work as long as tyre isn't bulging past the rim. Saw these pop up and grabbed them since I haven't seen them before. They are an uncommon 14" work equip mesh Each of the hex head bolts are engraved with 'work' And they have pretty cool black valve stems/caps. These will be widened to a 9/10J stagger as the potenza tr-3 were. I've managed to get a pair of 225/40 toyo t1r to try on and see how they work with the rear flares.- 129 replies

I did a bit of work on this a few months back to try get a warrant and fine tune some suspension bits but it didn't really pan out so it's just been sitting. I also sold the Bridgestone tr-3 to a friend who needed something quick to build his car around. Purchased some of these beams! 40mm roll centre adjusters from Australia Stuck them in and went for a drive and heard a horrible grinding It was clarencing the wheel weight on
