  1. of course I would say this - but 4G63T DOHC from a VR-4 with early Evo bits - easy 250-300hp with minimal mods and not hard to get 350-400hp with more boost. Very strong motor, have proven themselves time and time over getting literally dozens into the 8s and 9s. Plenty of cheap off the shelf parts for them, easy to make RWD. Only downside would be not finding a strong box to go behind it if you stay with a Mitsubishi box, however RX7 boxes can be fitted behind using the right bellhousing from a B2600/Marvie and Starion block. Dallow make VR-4/Evo->W5x bellhousings too.

    You could pick up a Starion block for cheap and then swap over the DOHC gear from an N/A Galant.

    Why would he do all that when he could fit something else with none of the fucking around.

    Sounds good for the scorp though :-D

    Honda donk wont work as rotation is wrong.

    Just get a nissan block of some description complete with box- that way theres no expenditure for adaptor plates/clutch etc. You can always up the HP later on- it doesn't need to be done all in one go.

    make sure there is a build thread for it- i love watching that stuff.
