Was wondering when one of these would turn up on here.
Mean.
excuse me? i know i dont comment much but i have a VB sedan same body but different grill indicators etc
awesome bo
good to see another old commy being done up. if i were you id change the motor i had nothing but troubles with the 202 so been in the process of getting rid of it, its almost done and back on the road. I see your from welly, should go for a roll when its done?
I also have a mate building a VH fully stripped and repainted beautifully putting in a 308 etc. wouldnt be surprised if it winds up a show car.
was jealous naturally, but i wanted mine for thrashing and bashing so cant have it too pretty or ill be too scared to drive it haha
-
sweet car bo,
got one of these for a work car its pretty tidy
i reckon theyre better looking than the fxgt
kinda like a 4door frontwheeldrive ae86
look forward to seeing one 4aged up
-
driveable?
-
reckon theyd cry if i arrive in a newschool car?
-
definitely your car fucken badd asss
yer keen as for whatever, bit of a lightweight drinker (scrawny cunt ) but few beers never hurt anyone
-
yeah thats the one luv that car! good to see some true oldschool crankin town occasionally as soon as commys done silvia will get parked up and ill be shredding through town in that beast
yer> could be keen on this meet, get to know some members, whats the deal? meet up go for beer, hang out etc?
-
have always been keen on meets but my oldschool isnt running, and daily is an s14 :S so no oldschool jammage for me
does anyone roll town much? i see a beige/tan/ one of those colours, oldschool wags, that im sure iv seen on here rolling through occasionally, is that someone here?
would be keen to convoy once car is on road keep oldschool together through courtney, farr more impact
-
im not a super sound guru but iv had a few different varying setups now.
what iv come across is that if your a bass nut like me you wanna crank the bass up but you dont wanna drive to much through your main components....
id suggest at least Looking at a headunit that has a seperate subwoofer control if your putting a sub in. that way you get your normal eq adjustment (bass, mid, treb) for your main components, then you can individually adjust how much bass runs to the sub.
so if your rolling through town and you feel like being a boy racer, crank it up (without putting pressure on your main speakers) or if your rolling through ghettoville, where you dont wanna advertise your sub a block away, you can turn it down and still enjoy good quality sound inside the car..
like i said im not a sound guru so others can feel free to correct me if im wrong on the subject, just my two cents.
dubstep for the basswobble/win!

keen on spares...

sorted out the little things first...
despoilerage...
drop in same sr20de motor out of an s15 done less than 100xxx, owner was rich asian who was gentle as on it, only took motor out to upgrade to sr20det blacktop
motor is clean as can be with no leaks, splatters or grease marks
overall only cost me 1200 only paid 600 for bluebird, so less than 2grand all up and iv got this tidy beasty
future plans is to lower on springs in mean time, then build up a de+t and get adjusties, do the swap all at once and get it certed.
commodore first tho i thnk...

Hey all only just noticed we have an Other Projects thread :S n00b
lol anyways heres my new score, got it on sunday for a straight trade for my old u12 bluebird
*insert pic here
lol thats when i bought it, looked a bit different by the end, black steelies etc
crappy ca20 single cam carby,
so yer straight trade for this, understandably it had been thrashed and consequently did a big end bearing after 2 hours of driving (not continuous).
so have spent 1200ish putting in new sr20de out of an s15 with 100xxxks on it so including the 600 i paid for the bluebird, iv spent roughly two grand and now i have this....
-
i like bumperless look but i HIGHLY recommend putting them back on
crashed into my mates starlet a few years back he had no bumpers so i hit straight on to his chassis rails
absolutely fucked his car the stress caused the seat brackets to break and fall through the floor really wrote it off, better to bend an ugly bumper than your whole car
and remember its not about how good a driver you are, its about how useless a driver the person in front/behind is :S
-
mean think i seen you this afternoon (thursday) driving down jackson street in petone? was like mean kp

air brushing looks sic
i couldnt run airbrushed cars when my cars running again im taking it straight to some gravel roads for some rally fun would just be a waste of money for me to own an expensive/time consuming paint job hahah
anyways cant wait to see finished
-
hey fullas just wondering what yall get up to down in chch and if theres anything coming up in the next couple of weeks?
my olds own a Novus franchise and i work for them they looking at expanding and shit and anyway they wanna send me down to chch for a few days to get some training from some of the guys down there learn some of the new shit thats coming out
so i was thinking of doing it at the end of the week and then spending the weekend down there to check it out
so if theres any meets/drinks/social events i could organise it around that?
maybe need a place to stay on the weekend too parents would pay for accomodation during training but weekend would be my own time and my own money
anyways what yous think?
-

-
It never used too, but the window man didn't quite do a 100% job and there is a small leak in the front window seal i think, i need to inspect closer but it isn't top of my priority list at the mo

-
