Took Cooper to his first Motorsport event, the Mt Vic Hill Climb 

Made a handbrake bias strap from a thick piece of leather, see how long that lasts

Tried to replace gearbox mount but not quite the correct one, bugger 

Replaced the missing 3/8unc x1" gearbox bolt and that eliminated the knocking sound . . . but then a tab feel to the ground that I have not yet worked out its origin.

OK that's a good to know UJ, Will have a lookey. Every bike I own is lined with Por15 to stop junk in my carb. One tank it bridged huge holes and is still going strong 5 plus years later.

Will order a new filler pipe thru GC @66gt anyways as its looking a bit perished when I gave it a prod.

Yeah true, Might try a thick leather belt.  Or as you suggest a seatbelt / rubber combo.

I'm actually trying to find one more wheel, as I currently have 7 of them but would like a spare set just encase they come back wonky from being widened or the WOF man doesn't like the stretch .  Small ford spares are bloody hard to find these days!

That's a good point re fuel cap seal, will try find a new one & remove the door cards and have a look around.
