Export shell. All the UK assembled export models had them plus the NZ assembled ones. Additional strengthining substandard roads so to speak
Ah ok that makes sense.

yo. so trail tech say for the rec/reg the stator needs a floated earth, ie not grounded to frame etc. how did you deal with this? my scoot has grounded stuff.
Is this with a standard stator? Do you have a white and yellow wire ? What engine is it your wiring up?

Ax100 Lonchin (2 stroke), Pitbike engines 125cc 140cc i wired with 'OPTION 2: SYSTEMS WITH ONLY ONE LIGHTING LEAD'
Loncin 200cc (XR200 copy) i wired with 'OPTION 1: SYSTEMS WITH TWO LIGHTING LEADS'

When it comes to wiring get one of these trailtech units for your lights (Regulator)

Best things ever! These little pit bike engines have mad voltage fluctuations, I run trailtech's on all my bikes and until i discovered them i had endless problems with headlights blowing for years.
No need for a battery and just a few wires required and you will be up and running.
