  1. Will eventually do a scrambler style exhaust with one of these, but for now will leave this one as is to avoid pannier clash. forum image hosting
  2. Just for a combination of clearance and looks really, I like the way it makes the shock less vertical.
  3. Both rubbers fitted, exhaust clamp made, few other bits n bobs sorted, dummy 350mm long shock in place. Was a little worried about the storage boxes being dangeRuss for my leg / foot going into them but i cant actually bend my leg back that far so should be ok. will do a crash test soon. Think I will go with the honda tank and the suzuki one on the wifes AX100 free pic free photo hosting uploading pictures image hosting no register

  7. When we roatripped to the coromandel Drunken followed us is his ute in 100km zone and said he could barely keep up with us on corners haha. reckons we averaged between 100 - 120 that's a std AX (probably flat to slight down hill I'm guessing). Polished rockers was real fun keeping up with the Harley's on a tiny bike. AX100s have a sweet tube frame IMO, underrated.
  8. Oh yup . . . 4.1 x 18 is quite large And we have spark . . . just need to work out how to do the ignition / kill switch now
  9. Yeah it's bad i know, the 105cc was just feeling a bit slow, before even loading it up and trying to climb rock faces, and I just wasn't feeling confident with all my recent mechanical failures that it was going to be trouble free. More power should = More fun I'm hope n
  10. I think it probably will wheelie quite easily with the weight on the rear . . . will at least make for a more spectacular crash. Preventative maintenance / don't want to break down in the jungle and be that guy. Looking forward to building the wife's one next Got a tank and rubber lined up already. Wiring . . . groans
  11. Haha good point will have to pack my marino undies around my cans. These goodies just arrived yeah yeaaaah! Bring on the electrickery!
  12. Hi OS Some more shit pics for CDL Spent Sat trying to find the best solution for panniers and ended up with this Not very large. but with one on each side i figured i would stack stuff ontop like a rack. I think they are a nice proportion for a small bike. Only had a few hours today as I had to make a new exhaust for the Carib, progress so far The frame is removable at the shock mount for urban off roading etc SLURP SLURP
  13. Yeeeeah . . . I'm probably going to need heaps of power for the mega sweet jumps I'm going to be doing anyways.
  14. Going to give it a red rocks test run and see how upset-tingly slow it is offroad. Then might get the cheqebook out after all this . . . more power is safer after all?
  15. I completed a stationary burnout and it smoked more, no luck unfortunately yup oil
  16. Yeah more than two strokes is a . . .
  17. I guess it's either gasket, piston rings or valve seaTs?
  18. It does smokey smokey https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2OHDx1A8BVY&feature=youtu.be
  19. Back together and running. Motor doesn't tic so much since filming, reset the tappets. They take a 0.05mm gap! Tiny. Can't seem to get the carb to lean out, the plugs get quite wet on all settings.
