^^^ ROFLOLs
I see now, so mazdas taking the "lets make a rotary nice and reliable and eco friendly" approach rather than trying to make them more suitable for race / high power applications, its a good step business / sales wise, but not so for us who want to build meke 13Bs
-
its the positioning of the exhaust ports which limits the turbo applications in my understanding, correct if im wrong
-
Like the renesis they have the EXHAUST ports on the side plates, PP is when the INTAKE port is on the housing itself, so the 16x has both intake and exhaust on side plates rather than intake on side plate and exhaust on housing like a normal 13b-re
-
I wasn't meaning the injection affecting the turbo set up, i was meaning the porting (both intake and exhaust are on the side plates like a RENESIS) and ive heard that this affects the peak power that you can get out of them
-
yup yup tiz
-
The injectors are at the top of each housing and inject directly into the chambers, i love this idea, but im wondering if they will be any good with a turbo strapped to the side, and i dont see any secondary injectors.... maybe secondaries in the intake manifold???

So mazdas bringing out a new rotary... Thoughts??

I put a weber 32/36 on my 1300, went well with mi foot planted and with mi foot off the pedal, the rest of the time it was fuking gutless & chewed through the gas. the 1300 was standard tho, revved out to over 6,000 rpm... then blew up
as for the diff problem, just lock it until you can find a replacement
-
Rough down changing can also break diffs in my experience, rolling up to a roundabout, shifted down into 2nd and pop, no diff
(it was wineing like a rape victum before hand tho..)

A mate of mine used to work in a holden dealership, he said that they are limited, just not sure what to. Mite have to go ask him what was the limit.
the only sure way to outrun a cop is to be on a sports bike & have balls the size of 20 inch "chrome" spinners yo / na

Change your plugs / leads and run it on atleast 96, worked for me

Just a thought - what's the point of doing ~60 km/h etc with the new thing. Might as well just do 70 since it costs the same (apart from standing out a bit more)
i concur

is this a decent excuse for us all to build dirty boso jappaz and do auckland motorway runs with no plates on?? heard a rumor that the cop cars are limited to 180kmph?? hmmm remember, its only illegal if you get caught / do dum shit in public. *555 is always watching...

After seeing a m8s 240z and owning an FD im undecided on this question, i love the handling of an FD, they pull the mean sluts (if youre into chix who are only rooting you for your ride) and sound/look mean for a new skool car, but Zs are just awsum, nuff said.
