im guessing your still running stock rear diff?
ive seen some talk about using a ford 8.8 rear end as they did come in independent versions
Yeah you can get weld in Kits to run an 8.8, but still need DSS axles and the replacement Hubs.
I'm running a spool centre in a S5 housing which eliminates the risk of blowing the diff head or splitting the casing, only risk is the CW & P but I'm not brutal enough.
The 8.8 isn't attractive as they aren't common here.

I'd prefer to shit in my hands and clap, then lick them.

Was going to head along, then realized neither of my RX7s go, heh...
After 2+ years of doing nothing on my cars due to new house & baby, I traded in my job so I can afford toys again.
Ordered 6 new injectors for the FC yesterday.
Going to a bigger turbo, looking at a BW 476SXE, seem to make good power on E85.
Also investigating if a winters rear is worth it or if I just do the driveshaft shop axles & hubs upgrade.
I want to pull wheelies in the 24/25 Meremere comp season.
I've also chased up the fabricator for the engine mount / sump plate for the 20B FD I'm building.
Once that's properly mounted I can start getting fab work done on it as I now have the radiator, intercooler and compression elbow for it.
Also, anyone have any good resources or experience with the Pulsar vs. Garrett turbos?
Obviously Garrett have the billet wheels and spool faster, but I'm trying to find if there's a difference in wheel design.

Keen on a FD. Just shy 99% of the buy in price.
Just buy one, you won't regret it.

Close to 1:1 HP to kg I bet is mentally fast. Good to see a top notch car in NZ. Is it side port or PP? Billet plates are so freaking cool
Just an EP.
It's sold already, cheap for the amount he's spent on it.

1000hp rx3 - awesome effort getting that hp into that engine bay, was it a NZ workshop or owner built?

Can confirm the following:
The single fastest car I've ever ridden in.
Original motor was built by CBR ~880whp with the twins, said motor now sits in my FD - sans turbo setup .
New Billet by Pac motor was built & tuned by CBR, Racelab did a lot for the fab work. Car made north of the stated 1000hp on HPR's Dyno.
Owner is meticulous when it comes to presentation, one of the cleanest 3s out there.

Saw these and thought of the OS Boes
For all you guys who want old style plates, they're now available from Kiwiplates: https://www.kiwiplates.nz/
Can redesign your old plate or create a new one.

Hey guys, well I kicked the 20b can down the road after talking $$$ with Azhar. Just too rich for me and my 3. So decided to keep things simple and keep the 13b bridgey - but convert to EFI. Wondered if anyone had any experience with what the best ECUs are for 13bs out there? I am looking to run a Haltech IC7 display inside in a Motorsport 3D dash. Any thoughts / experiences welcomed.
I'd suggest talking to more than just one shop if looking for a 20B package.
Buying parts off Pac AU direct has worked out cheaper & faster for me in the past.
20Bs are expensive these days, but can be done cheaply if you stay NA Peripheral Port by using a short crank motor.
Long crank even if done cheaply would still be $25k+ for an assembled block & intake with throttle body.

Anyone after a Factory 20B Lower Intake Manifold with both the primary & secondary fuel rails including injectors?
I've gone with an xcessive short intake for the FD.
Race plates in Aussie sell uppers for not a bad price.

You might be right

Isn't that because there's no pulley any more, alternator's gone, water pump is gone (presuming it's electric and hidden somewhere) so no pulley needed?
Still would have thought the bolt at the end of the E shaft would protrude through the front cover, unless they've just put a cap screw in it?
And then that raises the query of how they've sealed the front cover off to the sump / are they not running the front cover 'wet' in order to lube the oil pump chain.

I'm confused, what do you mean?
Can't see anything protruding from the front cover...
Might be an optical illusion in the pic but it looks like that's just a dummy block in the hole.

^^ They've also got an RX2 & 3 in stock at the moment. Rough but good projects for someone.
Anyone after a 20B lower intake manifold including fuel rail and injectors?
I'm pulling mine off the car next week as I'm using an Xcessive LIM.

I finally did something on my car yesterday
Should probably start a build thread for this at some stage.
Waiting on a price back from Pac for a shorter LIM to drop the height 38mm, will shave the UIM & LIM flanges down 3mm to get another 6mm out of it, then shave the sump plate by 4mm to clear the rack / bonnet.
Have a Green Bro's compression tube ordered, along with a Koyorad Radiator. Vinnyfab intercooler is sitting ready to be mounted up as well.

Can't see that wagon selling for that uncomplied.
Maybe the market has gone silly but RHD rotary converted 808 wagons are advertised for around that money with Wof & reg..
