Just had a Mazda 6 wagon go from onehunga auckland to sockburn christchurch.Toll was $840 + gst. 1 week turn around. Pick up from work and drop off to new guy.

I got a warn 9500lb on the front of my rodeo. Arb bar etc. It pulls nearly 3 ton out of the mud with a reasonable amount of ease. A bit slow, but then so is the runva 12000 on my mates pajero.

Warn must be ok, as my rodeo is ex police and it was on it when they had it.

For a shouldered bush, i machine the centre hole to size. Then make a mandrel to suit the id. This is a tight fit to the id. Then machine the od major, then od minor. For plain bush, do the same but only do od major. The suspension grade is easy to machine, as its 90A shore hardness. Try the 60A shore hardness stuff, you will pull your hair out before it is right. We grind finish the soft rollers

Only need a sharp piece of tool steel and a flat end drill to machine urethane. Ive been machining it most werks, for the last few years. Never had it fly out of the chuck either.

Ive had it on my wheels on my commy for about 2 years. Only place its coming off is where the wife has curbed them. Thats running a 30 series tyre on a 20" rim. Brake dust wont clean off it very easy tho.

That's interesting smokinjoe. I might look at sleeving over the threaded rod to add more strength. I've got lots of extra though, so mightgive it a go first and see what happens. What application caused the bent rods for you? Grass kart?

Well it's still rego'd ran out of wof in august. Lives in rangiora. Funny thing is, that in 2006 it got new plates, then had a set of personalised plates, then went back to the origional plates. But it's only changed hands to the new owner in April this year..

I got a ticket about 12 years ago for no front bumper on my primera. Had the plate zip tied on the front.

How bad are the scratches? I have a product i use at work called plexus. I will have a look and see if there is any left. If so, i will flick you a can..

On my mates on i used 12mm ali hex rod. Tapped the ende m8 to fit the rose joints. Havent failed yet, and they have been given some pretty harsh abuse

I might know of one of these setup for the grass, if anybodys keen. 125cc 5 speed on it. Goes hard. Or i have a crg kart with a kt100 on in. Full race spec. Raced at te aroha dirt track for a couple of seasons.

I have used the old trick of putting part in the lathe and spinning it, while cutting with a hacksaw. Works quite well for small parts.

If you want polyurethane sheet, let me know. I have racks of it at work. Heaps of off cuts. What thickness and what colour?

Or else I can supply polyurethane blocks in what ever size you want. And what ever shore hardness you want

Have you got the parts apart from the rubber? If so I should be able to pour urethane into them to make up the mounts.

I will have a look at home on the weekend, as I'm sure there is still 2 motors for a front spoiler in my garage. But I may have thrown them out. Can't remember....
