  1. another Certifier i was speaking to recently was saying that another reason the pre welded ones are no good is the junk reproduction spindle they have is junk. Plus it's welded wrong anyway.

    Got talking to some mates about them but couldn't find any decent pics. I think they're great so want to bombard them with pictures of awesomeness

    As for this merc.

    If your other option for this car is to use for parts then your best bet would be to start stripping parts and expose all the rust you can find. If you do end up repairing it, anyone who is going to do you a deal isn't going to want to have to remove shit to get at the rust (me personally anyway)

    At least then you have a better idea of the extent and anybody keen can see the majority.

    Stock up on titans for when retro period correct 00s builds become a thing.

    Drove a 20b bridgey turbs FD today*

    (*Backed it out of workshop, turned it round, drive onto trailer, gave it a rev up cause it sounds so good.)

    It's going to visit the dyno tomorrow, needs a good run up after sitting now that we have it running on all rotors/injectors/coils.

    Hopefully that will blow out the cobwebs and we can spend the owners coin on making it better rather than having to pull the motor down.

  5. Oh yeah so we have a 20b Bridgeport FD at work currently.

    Fixing a few issues from sitting while the owner has been away. Today we found there is no fuel filter... Anywhere, not even on the end of the pump

    Running a bit shit but has that sweet sweet 20b tone when it does rev up

    Providing the rebuild doesn't need housings or rotors

    Lots of things that add up real quick

  7. I don't know much about it, just came into work and I made the shifter actually work properly and then drove it down the road testing it.

    I don't fit in it but it was rowdy and when the carb actually supplied fuel properly it did haul
