yup thats the extent of it, looks like it is limited to just the bumper, close lines on the bonnet etc all look about right... was a little suprised (happily) when I got to the pits and that was all, I was expecting far worse considering the size of the shunt...

curtesy of the armco at the start of pukekohe's back straight... was a bit wet today...

the code allows them to register bots on forums/email servers etc... they're just using people (you guys) to decode the captcha so they can auto-register

you know the shore rules. Newmarket? would rule for photos.
p.s. Will have cert sat arvo so will more than likely bowl to the next one with camera in tow
Where abouts in Newmarket? There are a couple of quiet car parks in Parnell I know of...

how about Quay St. Mc D's?

off topic, but its my thread...
Saw my first 370z in the metal today - even if it was on the back of a truck...

maybe just stickier tyres?

Personally, I'd have the 350GT over the Z.
Why's that? Are they a fair bit cheaper? Same motors and stuff tho right?
Running gear is the same, obviously body lines are different and there is a fair bit more room in the GT however most people believe the Z has a better chassis - more rigid and better balanced... However the 350GT seems to be quite a bit rarer, especially in manual form which is pretty appealing

ZOMG that would be sweet. Be all, speakerphone stz.
Also 21st at Dominion road it is. See you cats there.

why do people from the shore think its the centre of Auckland?
I have applied science to the problem and determined the best possible meeting spot is the exact center of Auckland. The corner of Mt Albert & Dominion Rd.
For evidence I table:

any further plans?

I prefer the week day evenings, easier to make time for imho... but the outdoor thing might soon be no fun... anyone have access to a covered carpark? maybe cdb?
(and looking forward to bringing the courier to the next one...)

What frame is that BMX in the middle?

costed up a set of swaybars this afternoon... a little pricier than I anticipated (SAS Manukau, anyone recommend anyother shops?) but probably still worth it...
but the guy also tried to sell me on this:
A suspension ecu upgrade that plays with the acceptable settings for the electronic stability control programme. A pretty interesting idea, though its anything but old school -
Fantastic - always wanted one of these!!
Is this one of Rob's bodies?
-
Ouch, glad you settled on one of these.
I'm a bit of a fan of it. Looked quite good out on the track, as I assume these things weigh a bit?
Looks like it has a tidy mod list too. Any future plans with it or just to daily and track hack once in a while?
Yeah the curb weight is about 1500kg so its def. not the lightest.
There are a few more mod's I like to do, next on the list are heavier sway bars and new plenum. For now it will stay as a daily/track day combo car.

Im moving to Waiuku next week,so pukekohe is only a sparrows drunken stagger away from me

doesnt just drop in I think... http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread/284397
A better (maybe cheaper) option might be get a vq35de which should drop in to the new shape stagea's and then when you want more power wack on a turbo/super charge kit?
The other thing to remember is there arn't any factory manuals - though conversions have been done...

Is the video online? Which GTR?
It was diabolical weather, but a good day for honing skills (obviously I still need to do this some more)
