I once had a Lantis, was surprisingly quick...

what about something like an RVR Hyper? they might just about be in that price bracket now...

was really just an idea... but might start hording parts.... though my turbo was reconditioned only a few hours ago...

hmmm I hadn't got as far as considering pumps... that prius piece looks like the way to go...

VW's are air cooled.  A small amount of the air that is blown over the engine is siphoned off and blow through heater boxes that are around the exhaust, and then through the sill's and in to the car...

Because my car is turbo with over sized exhaust tubing there is no room for heater boxes even if they did fit my tubing, so I have no heating in my car, not really a big problem, it's not my daily and I'd rather go fast than stay warm.  But I was wondering, if I changed my turbo for one with water cooling connected to a heater core and blower would it generate enough heat to warm my car?

can't remember what the cost was though...  I never fitted them (have since sold them) but was very happy with the quality and service...

rough rule, but I'd bet on many things 10 years or newer being quicker with the auto and older than 10 years the manual will probably have it
